Objective: to evaluate the clinical efficacy of radiofrequency nucleus ablation and ozone ablation in the treatment of cervical pain. The control experiment focused on whether and how to improve the effect of medical ozone ablation on radiofrequency ablation in the treatment of cervical pain. Methods: this experiment was a prospective study. The observed cases were patients from January to June 2017,a total of 92 patients with single segment radiculopathy or mixed cervical spondylosis with neck and shoulder pain as the main symptoms were selected.According to the patients' gender, age, course, and pathological stage, they were randomly and orderly divided into two groups,46 people in each group, one as the study group and the other as the reference group.Patients in the study group were treated with radiofrequency ablation combined with ozone ablation, and those in the control group were treated with radiofrequency nucleus ablation alone. There was no difference in surgical approach, operation method and perioperative management between the two groups. Results: all operations were performed successfully without complications of spinal cord and nerve root injury and intervertebral space infection. All cases were followed up for 3 to 8 months with an average follow-up time of 6.2 months. The clinical effect of the two groups showed significant difference by self-paired t test, the clinical effect of the study group was better than that of the control group.Follow-up examination at 3 months after surgery showed that the excellent and good rate of treatment in the study group was 91.3%,while only 76.1% of the treatment in the reference group was effective.Meanwhile,by comparing the degree of neck and shoulder pain before and after surgery,it can be concluded that the relief degree of neck and shoulder pain in the treatment group is more obvious. The experimental results between the two groups were P < 0.05,and the experimental results were different. Conclusion: combined ozone ablation based on radiofrequency ablation can improve the efficacy of radiofrequency ablation in the treatment of cervical spine pain.
