Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Upper Limb Fumigationon elbow on joint function recovery after supracondylar fracture of humerus in children, alleviate the pain of the affected area, enable patients to perform better functional exercises and improve the satisfaction of the curative effect,so as to provide clinical basis for the recovery of elbow joint function after supracondylar fracture of humerus. Methods:The study period was from October 1,2017 to October 1,2018.Outpatient patients with humeral supracondylar fracture who met the diagnostic criteria were clinically healed after operation, and had poor elbow movement and pain after removal of plaster and Kirschner wire. The patients were numbered according to the order of admission, and divided into two groups according to odd and even numbers, namely, the control group and the experimental group. The control group was trained after operation, once a day,30 minutes each time,14 days each course of treatment,a course of treatment; On the basis of the training, the experimental group was treated with the Upper Limb Fumigation, once a day,20 minutes each time,14 days each course of treatment,a course of treatment.Mayo elbow function score was performed before and after treatment. The elbow motion was measured before and after treatment, and the collected data were analyzed by SPSS 20.0 statistical software. Results:Except for 15 cases of exfoliation, the other 60 cases were treated completely.1.There was no significant difference in sex, age, left and right distribution of affected limbs between the two groups(P>0.05),and there was no significant difference in Mayo elbow function score and elbow motion between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).2.Mayo elbow function score before and after treatment in the experimental group was significantly different(P<0.05);Mayo elbow function score after treatment in the experimental group was significantly different from that in the control group(P<0.05).3.The number of elbow flexion and extension before and after treatment in the experimental group had statistical significance(P<0.05);the number of elbow pronation and pronation after treatment in the experimental group had statistical significance compared with the control group(P<0.05);the number of elbow flexion and extension after treatment in the experimental group had no significant difference compared with the control group(P<0.05).(P>0.05).Conclusion: External fumigation and washing of Upper Limb Fumigation can better improve elbow joint function, and is suitable for clinical promotion and application.
