Observation Of Clinical Effects About HuaYuTongLuo Lotion Fumigation-washing To The Function Recovery Of Elbow Joint After Operation On Supracondyle Fracture Of The Humerus In Children

Objective:To investigate the efficacy of huayutongluo lotion in the elbow joint functional recovery after the operation on supracondyle fracture of the humerus in children.Methods:In this research,60 cases who had supracondyle fracture of the humerus were collected.There were 41 boys and 19 girls,their age were range from 6-14,and 9.42±1.982 in average. All the patients were randomly divided into two groups,the treatment group (30 cases) and the control group (30 cases).The treatment group used the foundation after surgery and postoperative functional exercise guidance,and to develop lateral elbow with huayutongluo lotion,while the control group using the same basic treatment and postoperative to guide functional exercise.To the pain intensity during functional exercise(VAS score),range of motion of the elbow(fexion and extension) and Mayo Elbow-Performance Score as observation indexes,two groups of the degree of children in postoperative 3 weeks,5weeks after operation,postoperative corresponding data measured at 7 weeks.Finally,the degree of recovery of elbow function of the two groups were compared. SPSS 18.0 statistical software was used for all data on these cases to a statistical analysis, comparative analysis of the differences between the two groups.Results:Two cases in the treatment group refused to continue fumigation-washing underwent two days later.And one case in the control group didn’t continue to follow-up after pulling out the kirschner wire.All of them three were dropped-out.1. General data by statistical analysis of two groups of children had no statistical significance (P>0.05), and prove that comparable; 2. Comparison between the two way, the treatment group and control group two groups of children at 3 weeks after surgery of VAS score,range of motion of the elbow and Mayo Elbow-Performance Score after statistics analysis and comparison were no statistical significance (P>0.05), and 5 weeks after surgery,7 weeks when two groups of curative effect observation index to compare had statistical significance (P<0.05), and the treatment group was better than control group; 3. Within two way, groups of children in 3 weeks,5 weeks,7 weeks after VAS score,range of motion of the elbow and Mayo Elbow-Performance Score after statistics analysis and comparison were statistically significant (P<0.05), and improve the magnitude of the treatment group was obviously better than the control group; 4. The treatment group found no obvious adverse reaction caused by traditional Chinese medicine for external use only.Conclusion:Huayutongluo lotion can effectively reduce the pain of functional exercise, promote the range of motion and function recovery of elbow.Exercise with fumigation-washing therapy of huayutongluo lotion contributes more than only exercise in the recovery of the elbow function after the surgery of children’s humerus condyle fracture.
