Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Juanbi Decoction on knee osteoarthritis of cold-dampness type, and to provide evidence for its clinical application. Methods: From December 2017 to December 2018,60 patients with knee osteoarthritis of cold-dampness type were selected from the orthopedics department of Zhangzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The patients were divided into two groups according to the order of admission,30 cases in the control group and 30 cases in the experimental group. The control group was given basic treatment plus celecoxib capsule(200 mg po qd).The experimental group was given Juanbi Decoction on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated for 2 weeks.Record and analyze the VAS score,WOMAC score,TCM symptom score,TCM syndromes efficacy and total disease efficacy of the two groups before and after treatment, and record the adverse reactions in the course of the study, and make a scientific curative effect evaluation combined with statistical analysis.Result:1.VAS score: comparison between the two groups: before treatment, there was no significant difference in VAS score between the two groups(P > 0.05),which was comparable;after treatment,VAS score between the two groups had significant difference(P < 0.01).Intra-group comparison: VAS scores of the two groups after treatment and before treatment were significantly different(P < 0.01).2.WOMAC score: comparison between the two groups: before treatment, there was no significant difference in WOMAC score between the two groups(P > 0.05),which was comparable;after treatment, there was significant difference in WOMAC score between the two groups(P < 0.01).Intra-group comparison: There was significant difference in WOMAC score between the two groups after treatment and before treatment(P < 0.01).3.TCM symptoms score: comparison between the two groups: before treatment, there was no significant difference in TCM symptoms score between the two groups(P > 0.05),which was comparable;after treatment,TCM symptoms score between the two groups had significant difference(P < 0.01).Intra-group comparison: There were significant differences in TCM symptom scores between the two groups after treatment and before treatment(P < 0.01).4.Analysis results of TCM syndromes: In the experimental group,4 cases were cured(13.79%),9 cases were markedly effective(31.03%),12 cases were effective(41.38%)and 4 cases were ineffective(13.79%).The total effective rate was 86.21%.The control group: 1 case(3.33%)was cured clinically,3 cases(10.00%)were effective in 19 cases(63.33%)and 7 cases(23.33%)were ineffective. The total effective rate was 76.67%.There was significant difference in the curative effect of TCM syndromes between the two groups after treatment,(P < 0.05),with statistical significance.5.Analysis of total clinical efficacy: In the experimental group,3 cases(10.34%)were cured,9 cases(27.59%)were markedly effective,12 cases(48.28%)were effective,4 cases(13.79%)were ineffective, and the total effective rate was 86.21%.Control group: 1 case(3.33%)was cured clinically,4 cases(13.33%)were markedly effective,16 cases(53.33%)were effective,9 cases(30.00%)were ineffective, and the total effective rate was(70.00%).There was significant difference in the total curative effect between the two groups after treatment,(P < 0.05),with statistical significance. The total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group. Conclusion: Juanbi Decoction combined with celecoxib capsule can effectively improve clinical symptoms of knee osteoarthritis of cold-dampness obstruction type, which is better than celecoxib capsule alone in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.
