| Objective:Using Chuanben Recipe to treat asthma with Lung and kidney qi deficiency syndrome of chronic persistent,by studying its effects on cytokines IL-4 and IFN-?,and observing pulmonary function indexes,ACT scores,TCM syndrome scores and the number of acute episodes,to verify its clinical efficacy and provide a theoretical basis for clinical application.Method:Sixty patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups,30 in the treatment group and 30 in the control group.The control group was given inhalation treatment with Budesonide and Formoterol Fum arate Powder for Inhalation(160/4.5),and the treatment group was given the traditional Chinese medicine granules of Chuanben Recipe on the basis of western medicine.The course of treatment was 30 days,and after the treatment,the patients were followed up for 30 days.One dose of salbutamol aerosol was administered to each patient in each group and used as needed.Result:1.In terms of general data(gender,age,course of disease,condition,smoking history,etc.),there was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05);TCM syndrome score,single symptom score,IL-4 and IFN-?,Pulmonary function index,ACT score,etc,there was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).2.TCM syndrome efficacy: The difference in the efficacy of TCM syndromes between the two groups after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05).The effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group after the treatment(93.3%>83.3%).3.TCM syndrome scores: There was significant statistical difference between the two groups before and after treatment in the scores of TCM syndrome(P<0.01);the differences between the two groups after treatment were statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Single symptom score: The scores of each single symptom were significantly different in the treatment group before and after treatment(P<0.01).In the aspects of wheezing,chest tightness,and shortness of breath,the difference between the control group before and after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.01).In the aspects of expectoration,mental fatigue,spontaneous sweating,and weak waist and knee,there was no significant difference between the control group before and after treatment(P>0.05).In the aspects of wheezing,chest tightness,and shortness of breath,there was no significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).In the aspects of expectoration,mental fatigue,spontaneous sweating,and weak waist and knees,the differences between the two groups before and after treatment were significantly statistically significant(P<0.01).5.Plasma IL-4 and IFN-?: There was significant statistical difference between the two groups before and after treatment on IL-4(P<0.01).The differences between the two groups after treatment were significantly statistically significant(P<0.01).There was significant statistical difference between the two groups before and aftert reatment on IFN-?(P<0.01).The differences between the two groups after treatment were significantly statistically significant(P<0.01).6.Pulmonary function index: There was significant statistical difference between the treatment group before and after treatment on FEV1%(P<0.01).There was statistical difference between the control group before and after treatment on FEV1%(P<0.05).The differences between the two groups after treatment were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was significant statistical difference between the treatment group before and after treatment on FEV1/FVC%(P<0.01).There was no statistical difference between the control group before and after treatment(P>0.05).The differences between the two groups after treatment were significantly statistically significant(P<0.01).7.ACT score: There were significant statistical differences between the two groups before and after treatment in the ACT scores(P<0.01).The differences between the two groups after treatment were significantly statistically significant(P<0.01).8.The number of acute episodes: There was significant statistical difference between the two groups during the treatment period and within 30 days after the end of the treatment period in the number of acute episodes(P<0.01).9.Total spray of salbutamol inhalation: There was no significant difference between the two groups during the treatment period in the total number of salbutamol inhalation(P>0.05).There was significant statistical difference between the two groups within 30 days after the end of the treatment period in the total number of salbutamol inhalation(P<0.01).Conclusion:1.Chuanben Recipe can effectively improve the main clinical symptoms of chronic persistent lung and kidney qi deficiency syndrome(wheezing,chest tightness,shortness of breath,expectoration,mental fatigue,spontaneous sweating,and weak waist and knee),and combined with Western medicine treatment of expectoration,mental fatigue,spontaneous sweating,and weak waist and knees are more effective than Western medicine alone.2.Chuanben Recipe may have anti-airway inflammatory response,enhance and regulate the cellular immune function in the treatment of asthma chronic persistent lung and kidney qi deficiency syndrome,thereby regulating Th1/Th2 cell immune imbalance,by decreasing IL-4 level and increasing IFN-? level,and combined Western medicine is more effective than Western medicine alone.3.Chuanben Recipe can effectively improve the lung function of asthma patients,may have loose bronchial smooth muscle,relieve bronchial smooth muscle spasm,improve the pharmacological effects of airflow limitation,and combined Western medicine is more effective than Western medicine alone.4.Chuanben Recipe can reduce the number of acute attacks of asthma patients with lung and kidney qi deficiency syndrome of chronic persistent,so that asthma can be effectively controlled,and can prevent asthma recurrence,and combined Western medicine is more effective than Western medicine alone. |
