Objective: To observe the effect of regulating the mind and calm the liver acupuncture on children's tic disorders through the Yale Global Tic Severity scale(YGTSS),observe the therapeutic effect of regulating the mind and calm the liver acupuncture on children's tic disorders, and preliminarily explore the possible mechanism,so as to provide a new, safe and feasible treatment plan and idea for children's twitch disorder. Methods:In this study,62 children who met the diagnostic criteria of children's tic disorders were randomly divided into acupuncture group and western medicine group according to the random number table. The acupuncture group was treated with regulating the mind and calm the liver acupuncture. The acupoints were baihui, sishencong, shenting, shenmen, hegu and taichong. The local acupoints were selected along with the symptoms, once a day from Monday to Friday. The western medicine group was treated with tiapride,a western medicine taken orally. The initial dose was 50 mg,twice a day,and the dosage was increased or decreased appropriately according to the patient's condition.Four weeks was one course of treatment, and two courses of treatment were given to both groups.Yale Global Tic Severity scale(YGTSS)score was conducted before, four weeks after and eight weeks after treatment, and clinical efficacy and adverse reaction events of the two groups were observed.Spss18.0 software was used for statistical processing and analysis of all the data.According to the results, whether the efficacy of the two groups was statistically significant was analyzed. Results: A total of 62 cases were included in this study, including 31 cases in the acupuncture group,31 cases in the western medicine group,1 case in the acupuncture group and 1 case in the western medicine group. The two groups each completed 30 cases, with a completion rate of 96.67%.1.Baseline data: There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of gender, age, course of disease, type of tic disorders, total YGTSS score before treatment and symptoms score of YGTSS(P>0.05).2.Comparison of clinical efficacy: After 4 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of the acupuncture group(66.67%)was significantly higher than that of the western medicine group(60.00%),with no significant difference(P>0.05);after 8 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of the acupuncture group(90%)was significantly higher than that of the western medicine group(73.33%),with significant difference(P<0.05).3.Comparison of YGTSS total score: two groups in the multivariate test analysis results, two groups of children with YGTSS score and time change relation between factors(P<0.05),and group interaction(time interacting with the group P<0.05),two groups of children with YGTSS score compared statistically difference(in the effect of group P<0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in the total score of YGSS between the two groups(P>0.05).After 8 weeks of treatment, the total score of YGTSS between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Comparison of YGTSS symptom score: After 4 and 8 weeks of treatment, motor tic, vocal tic and defect score of the two groups decreased compared with those of the same group before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment, the two groups had similar effects in improving motor tic, vocal tic and defect(P>0.05).After 8 weeks of treatment, the improvement of motor tic degree in the acupuncture group was significantly better than that in the western medicine group, with statistical significance(P<0.05),while the improvement of vocal tic and overall defect was similar, with no statistical significance(P>0.05).5.There were no adverse events in the treatment of children in the acupuncture group, and 6 children in the western medicine group had adverse events in the treatment process. There was significant difference in the classification of adverse events between the two groups(P<0.05).The safety of the acupuncture group was higher than that of the western medicine group. Conclusion: 1.The curative effect of regulating the mind and calm the liver acupuncture and Western medicine tiapride on children with tic disorders has increased over time, and time factors play a certain role in this study. The 8 week is the treatment window with different therapeutic effects. After 8 weeks of treatment, the effect of regulating the nerves and smoothing the liver is better than that of western medicine.2.Regulating the mind and calm the liver acupuncture can improve the motor twitch, vocal twitch and overall defect of children with dyskinesia, especially the obvious improvement of motor twitch.3.Regulating the mind and calm the liver acupuncture is safer than western medicine tiapride.
