Objective:By comparing the clinical curative effect and safety of treatment of tic disorders in children Through the method of ear points imbedding needle combined with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)and the method of oral western medicine of Tiapride hydrochloride.Trying to get a method of more convenient and efficient, small side effects, easily accepted for the treatment of tic disorders in children. Methods:This study choosed 64 patients who met the inclusion criteria, and the 64 patients will be randomly divided into two groups, namely: the treatment group(ear points imbedding needle combined with Chinese traditional medicine group)and the control group(Tiapride hydrochloride group),and give the two groups of the corresponding treatment. One period of treatment is 4 weeks, two groups need to accept two courses of treatment respectively. Before treatment, after each course of treatment, and follow-up period(over 4 weeks after treatment),we will use the integrated Yale Global Tic Severity Scale(YGTSS)to score, and calculate the effective rate to observe the clinical curative effect. The research data is analyzed by spass23.0,We need to analyze the relevant results of two groups to judge whether the data have statistical significance.Results:1.The test completion: this trial accepted 64 patients, the two groups have 32 cases respectively.the treatment group falled off in 1 case, and the control group falled off in 2 cases in whole treatment process,61 cases with complete in the end.the fall off cases is accounting for 4.69% of the total sample, and the complete cases accounting for 95.31%.2.Baseline results: the two groups were respectively compared in four fields, which is the gender, age, length of the course of the disease, the scores of YGTSS and before treatment. The result showed that there were not significant differences(P >0.05).3.Results in the groupThe YGTSS scores of after treatment for 4 weeks,8 weeks and the follow-up period were respectively compared with the scores of each group before treatment, the YGTSS scores of the follow-up period compared with the scores of after treatment for8 weeks, the results all showed P<0.05,there were significant difference.4.Results between groupsThe degree of improvement of the twitching symptoms(the reduced rate comparison results):(1)The reduced rate comparison after 4 weeks or 8 weeks of treatment: the results all showed P>0.05,there were not significant difference.(2)The reduced rate comparison of the follow-up period:It had significant difference(P<0.05).5.The efficacy results :(1)The efficacy comparison result after treatment for 4weeks or 8 weeks showed: P>0.05,there was not significant difference.(2)The efficacy comparison result on the follow-up period is that P<0.05,there was significant difference.6.Safety comparison: There were six children have some side effects in the western medicine in the process of treatment, which accounted for 20% of the total control group, and there is not adverse reaction in treatment group.Conclusion:1.This method which is the ear points imbedding needle combined with Chinese traditional medicine is effective in the treatment of tic disorders in children, its clinical curative effect was certain,so the treatment group and the control group have equivalent efficacy in efficiency.2.The two groups have certain curative effect in the early course of treatment, but the treatment group showed slow action in early.the efficient were gradually increased with the increase of treatment.3.A small number of children in the western medicine group had certain side effects in the whole treatment process,on the contrary, the treatment group better security.4.The western medicine group recurrence rate is high, the treatment group isrelatively small in the follow-up period.
