Objective:To investigate the relationship between the levels of serum homocysteine(Hcy),uric acid(UA),cystatin C(Cys-C)and Parkinson's disease(PD),and to explore the relationship between the levels of serum homocysteine(Hcy),uric acid(UA),cystatin C(Cys-C)and mild cognitive impairment in patients with Parkinson's disease(PD-MCI).Methods:From May 2016 to January 2018,92 patients with Parkinson's disease were selected as the group of Parkinson's disease(group PD),and 100 healthy persons were selected as healthy control group. We recorded detailed infomation of basic demographics, including ages, sex and education, educational level, and measured the levels of serum Hcy,UA and Cys-C.Group PD,based on the diagnostic criteria of PD-MCI,combined with the score of simple intelligent mental state examination scale(MMSE)and Montreal cognitive assessment scale(MoCA),was further divided into non concomitant cognitive dysfunction group(PD-NCI group)and mild cognitive impairment group(group PD-MCI).The levels of serum Hcy,UA and Cys-C in the two subgroup were compared, and PD-MCI patients were compared and analyzed in PD-MCI.Whether there is a correlation with the above indicators.Results:1.The score of MOCA in PD-MCI group was significantly lower than that in PD-NCI group(P<0.05).The scores of visual space-execution,naming,attention,speech,abstract ability and orientation were significantly lower than those of PD-NCI group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in delayed recall scores between the two groups(P>0.05).2.The levels of serum Hcy and Cys-C in the PD group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The levels of serum UA in the PD group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).3.The levels of serum Hcy and Cys-C in the PD-MCI group were significantly higher than those in the PD-NCI group and the control group. The levels of serum UA in the PD-MCI group were significantly lower than those in the PD-NCI group and the control group(P<0.05).4.The blood of the PD group of Hcy and negatively correlated with MOCA score(P < 0.05),and UPDRS-? scores were positively correlated(P < 0.05).The blood Cys-C of PD group was negatively correlated with MOCA score(P<0.05),which was positively correlated with the disease course(P<0.05).The serum UA level of PD group was not correlated with all indexes(P >0.05).5.The duration,UPDRS-III,and H-Y stages of PD-MCI group were significantly higher than those of PD-NCI group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Patients with PD-MCI mainly suffer from reduced visual space-execution,naming,attention,speech,abstract ability and orientation.2.The increase of serum Hcy and Cys-C levels and the decrease of serum UA levels are associated with the pathogenesis of PD and PD-MCI,which is helpful for the diagnosis of PD and PD-MCI.3.Long duration of illness, high UPDRS ? score and high H-Y stage may be the risk factors of PD-MCI.
