| Objective: 1.In 2018,we measured the height and weight of children aged 6-12 in Baota District,Yan'an City,and learned about the prevalence of overweight and obesity among children in Baota District,Yan'an City.2.Investigate the factors related to overweight and obesity in children aged 6-12 in Baota District,Yan'an City in 2018,and explore the related factors of overweight and obesity in children aged 6-12.3.Interventions were provided on the growth of physical and mental health of children aged 6-12 in Baota District,Yan'an City in 2018.Methods: In this study,a cluster random sampling method was used to select students from 6-12 years old in 5 primary schools in East,West,South,North and Central Schools of Baota District,Yan'an City in 2018.with a total of 4417 students for physical measurement.Questionnaires were distributed randomly.Screening for overweight and obese students based on BMI screening criteria.To analyze the status of overweight and obesity in children aged 6-12,and to investigate the related factors of overweight and obesity according to the questionnaire.Data entry is performed using the EXCLE database.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 20.0.Children's height and weight measurements were expressed as-X ąS and compared by t test.The detection rate of overweight and obesity was expressed as a percentage,and the chi-square test was used for comparison.Univariate analysis of overweight and obesity in children was performed using a chi-square test.Multivariate logistic regression models were used to analyze risk factors affecting overweight and obesity in children.The difference was statistically significant at P < 0.05.Result: 1.Investigate 4,417 children aged 6-12 in Baota District,Yan'an City,2277 male students,accounting for 51.55%,and 2140 female students,accounting for 48.45%.2.This study shows that among the 4417 children aged 6-12 years old in Baota District,Yan'an City,there were 495(11.21%)obese people and 383(8.67%)overweight people.After classification by gender,there were 2,277 boys,279(12.25%)of the obese,and 213(9.35%)of the overweight.There were 2,140 girls,216(10.09%)of the obese,and 170(7.94%)of the overweight.After classification by age group,the number of obese people in 6-year-old children was 41(16.27%),and the number of overweight persons was 22(8.73%).The number of obese people in 7-years-old children was 72(13.41%),and the number of overweight person was 42(7.82%).The number of obese people in 8-year-old children was 109(12.50%),and the number of overweight persons was 67(7.68%).The number of obese people in 9-year-old children was 109(12.21%),and the number of overweight persons was 79(8.85%).The number of obese people in 10-year-old children was 78(8.98%),and the number of overweight persons was 84(9.67%).The number of obese people in 11-years-old was 57(8.76%),and the number of overweight person was 56(8.60%).The number of obese people in 12-year-old child was 29(8.45%),and the number of overweight persons was 33(9.62%).3.Analysis of relevant factors: feeding methods at birth,eating sweets and drinking carbonated drinks are related factors for children's overweight and obesity.Breastfeeding during infants is a protective factor for overweight and obesity in children(P<0.05,OR=0.758).Children who like to eat sweets are risk factors for overweight and obesity in children(P<0.05,OR=1.276).Children who like to drink carbonated drinks are risk factors for overweight and obesity in children(P<0.05,OR=1.308).Conclusion: 1.The detection rate of male obesity among children aged 6-12 in Baota District of Yan'an City is higher than that of girls.The detection rate of obesity among 6-year-old children in the 6-12 age group is the highest.The primary school children in the five schools of the new district had the highest detection rate of overweight and obesity.2.The related factors of overweight and obesity in children aged 6-12 in Baota District of Yan'an City are the feeding methods during infants.Whether you like to eat sweets and whether you like to drink carbonated drinks.3.Preventing overweight and obesity in children requires breastfeeding and improved eating habits. |
