This paper takes the post competency of continuing education students of clinical specialty as the research object,by adopting the methods of questionnaires,surveys and interviews,objectively shows the status quo of post competency and public evaluation of continuing education students of clinical specialty.It reveals some problems like lacking of post competence research in existing continuing education model of clinical specialty,neglecting the characteristics of continuing education students,and the seperation of teaching and post practical needs.Through literature research,we have masterd the concept of competency,the method of combing elements and the research results of predecessors.We have a preliminary understanding of the competency of clinical continuing education students in the workplace.The questionnaires and interviews are uesd to frame the main competency characteristics.Using inductive methods to analyze the competency characteristics of representative samples,the characteristics and components of post competency in continuing education for clinical students are screened out.Based on “Top Ten Competency Characteristics” and “Composition of Competency Features”,the "Competency Division System" are divided into three levels.The post competency model of "Top Ten Characteristics of Three Levels of Competence" for clinical continuing education students is constructed.Based on the post competency requirements and medical reform needs,in respose to the existing problems,a series of opinions and suggestions on improving the teaching and training mode around the post competency are proposed.A teaching and training program that accords with the actual situation and closely conforms to the post requirements is designed,which is helpful to improve the post competency.This paper puts forward some teaching reform measures,such as continuing education based on competency deficiency,vigorously carrying out cooperative teaching between schools and enterprises,establishing a training mechanism for teachers,strengthening humanities education,updating enrollment and comprehensive quality evaluation methods for graduation assessment,and then promoting continuing education students of clinical specialty are qualified for grassroots docters.
