Bronchial asthma (BA) is a common disease of respiratory system which mostly happens during age from2-8, it is the disease of chronic airway inflammation which is participated jointly by multicellular and cellular component. In recent years, the incidence rate of infant bronchial asthma has been increasing around the world due to the effect of various factors, the reality of long-period treatment and easy relapse brings heavy economic burden and mental pressure to the children’s family and society. For the treatment of bronchial asthma, modern medicine can relieve symptoms quickly in the acute phase, but treatment for remi ssion is still a lack of effect ive programs. Trad i t ional medicine has a unique advantage in remission treatment, in particular, the effect of "Winter diseases treated in summer" is prominent. Fundamentally, body can be regulated by the balance of yin and yang, promoting blood and blood vessels and reinforce of healthy qi, which can help with achieving the purpose of reducing the frequency of attacks and relieving symptoms. The subject is guided by the theory of "Winter diseases treated in summer", aims to prove the function of traditional medical therapy in improving the s i tuat ion of bronchialasthma and reducing the frequency of attacks according to the efficacy evaluation by the treatment of pediatric bronchial asthma. The Pediatric Kechuan Plaste, which is made by Pediatrics of Dongzhimen Hospital, would play as a way of intervention. During the treatment, one year was an observation period, so the work of data acquisitionan was conducted at the end of each period,a total of3. It aims to provide a strong evidence for the Evidence-based medicine in treating infant bronchial asthma by the acupoint sticking therapy. The thesis are divided into two parts:literature review and clinical research. Firstly, the author introduced the Chinese and Western medicine treatment of bronchial asthma in literature review part. Secondly, the author discussed the principle of "Winter diseases treated in summer " and its cl inical appl icat ion in this part. The clinical research made a retrospect ive study based on100cases in accordance with the criteria, including data collection, statistics, results analysis and discussion.Objective:1. Through the intervention of the pediatric bronchial asthma in remission, to evaluate the effect of "Winter diseases treated in summer" in alleviating the main symptoms of asthma and reducing the frequency of asthma attacks;2. To evaluate the relationship of the effect and course of treatment of Pediatric Kechuan Plaste;3. To observe the side effect of the Pediatrie Kechuan Plaste. Methods:In the study,100cases of pediatric bronchial asthma were chosen, they were treated by acupoint sticking therapy in Dongzhimen Hospital pediatric sticking outpatient during the dog days(divided into3stages)from2009to2011and were selected on different acupoints (on account of dialectic)such as Dingchuan, Feishu, etc. Each patient was treated by the acupoint sticking therapy on the first day of the first stage of the dog days, thus, it was one course for the patient each year, and each patient was cured1to3courses of treatment. It is a retrospective study based on the data which were collected in the form of out-patient interview and telephone interview. The study compares the effect of the symptoms before and after treatment, analyses the relationship of the efficacy and duration based on the statistics analysis.Results:1. The general efficiency of the treatment of asthma in children by acupoint sticking therapy is84%(1-year observation),98.4%(2-year observation) and100%(3-year observation) respectively;2. On the improvement of the main symptoms, the Pediatric Kechuan Plaste makes a statistically difference between single course treatment and multiple courses of treatment, that means the intervention effect of multiple courses is better than the intervention effect of single course;3.In the100cases, no other children has serious side effect except for those who are allergic to tape. Conclusion:According to the efficacy evaluation, the study ensures the effect of the Pediatric Kechuan Plaste in treating the infant bronchial asthma;2. According to the data analysis, it is confirmed that the pathogenesis of asthma has correlation with sex, age and duration of disease;3. The duration of treatment plays an important role to the effect, the longer the treatment is, the more obvious the effect is;4. There is no other serious side effect except for a small number of children who have varying degrees of allergic reaction to the tape, so the result of the research reflects the safety of the Pediatric Kechuan Plaste in treating the infant bronchial asthma in remission.
