Objective:1.To explore the association between impulsive aggression and MAOA rs1137070,5-HTR1 B rs6296 gene polymorphisms in Xinjiang patients with bipolar affective disorder(Bipolar Disorder,BD).2.To explore the relationship between childhood abuse and impulsive aggressive behavior of Han BD patients.3.To explore the correlation between MAOA rs1137070,5-HTR1 B rs6296 gene polymorphism and childhood abuse and BD impulsive aggression. Methods:A case-control study was conducted to collect 358 BD patients of Han nationality. They were divided into two groups according to the modified overt aggression scale(MOAS)score: the impulsive aggression group(n=112)and the non-impulsive aggression group(n=246).The polymorphism of rs6296 gene was identified by PCR direct sequencing method, and the differences of MAOA rs11370700 and 5-HTR1 B rs6296 gene polymorphism were analyzed by statistical software SPSS17.0.The interaction between childhood abuse and MAOA rs1137070,5-HTR1 B rs6296 gene polymorphisms was analyzed by using 2*4 crossover analysis table.Results:1.The frequency of MAOA rs1137070 allele in male BD patients with and without impulsive aggression was significantly different between the two groups(P < 0.01).2.The genotype and allele frequencies of MAOA rs1137070 in female BD patients with and withou t impulsive aggression were significantly different between the two groups(P < 0.01)..3.There was no significant difference in genotype and allele frequency distribution of 5-HTR1 B rs6296 locus between the two groups(P > 0.05).4.There was a significant difference between the two groups of BD patients with and without impulsive aggression and childhood abuse with and without(P < 0.05).5.The interaction index S=3.15 between MAOA rs1137070 gene polymorphism and childhood abuse;Conclusion:1.MAOA rs1137070 gene polymorphism and childhood abuse are risk factors for impulsive aggre ssion in BD patients, and there is an orthogonal interaction between them.2.The 2.5-HTR1 B rs6296 gene polymorphism may not be associated with impulsive aggression in BD patients.
