Background: MDD(Major Depressive Disorder)is a group of emotion disorder characterized by persistent depression and decreased interest.Patient's social function is significantly reduced due to persistent depression,markedly decreased activities,negative self-evaluation and other factors.How to help MDD alleviate emotional symptoms,accept themselves,improve social functions,reintegrate into society,and self-development is meaningful.Self-esteem is a positive evaluation of oneself,and also an internal motive force in pursuit of self-worth realization.Good self-esteem provides resistance to negative events,and also provides regenerative power to develop oneself.In the process of individual growth and pursuit of development,positive psychological capital,"psychological capital" is a positive mental state.Psychological capital has a positive impact on the individual's mental state,work efficiency and attitude,and positive development.Self-esteem andpsychological capital are important parts of the individual's development process,and they are plastic and interventional.Therefore,clinical research on how to improve self-esteem,psychological capital and emotional symptoms of MDD is important.Psychodrama is a kind of group psychotherapy that was founded and developed in the 1920 s.Yi Shu psychodrama is the combination of eastern philosophy and western psychotherapy theory based on the classical psychodrama.Yi Shu psychodrama has unique local technologies and the characteristic of being more easily accepted by the Chinese.In the Yi Shu Psychodrama members can get opportunities to heal wounds,accept themselves,establish relationships,and exercise social roles.The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of Yi Shu psychodrama combined with drugs on self-esteem,psychological capital and emotion of MDD,aiming to provide advice and guidance for its clinical application.Methods: According to the criteria of enrollment and exclusion,44 MDD were selected from the Department of Psychiatry of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University.They were assessed with BAI(Baker Anxiety Scale),BDI(Baker Depression Scale),SES(Self-esteem Scale)and PPQ(Psychological Capital Scale).On the basis of medication,the experimental group(22 cases)was treated with Yi Shu psychodrama,the control group(22 cases)was given mental health education at the same time.After the intervention,all the patients wereevaluated by BDI,BAI,SES,PPQ.Then the questionnaire was analyzed and the results were analyzed.Results:(1)There were no significant differences in BDI,BAI,SES and PPQ between experimental group(Yi Shu psychodrama combined with antidepressants group)and control group(mental health education combined with antidepressants group)before intervention(P>0.05).(2)In the experimental group,there are statistically significant differences in BDI,BAI,SES and PPQ scores between before and after intervention(P<0.05).In the control group,there is statistically significant difference in BDI(P<0.05)but no significant difference in BAI,SES and PPQ(P>0.05)between before and after intervention.(3)After intervention,the changes of BDI,SES,the total scores of PPQ,hope and optimism of the experimental group were statistically significant different from those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: Compared with mental health education combined with antidepressant drugs,Yi Shu psychodrama combined with antidepressants can more effectively improve depression,self-esteem and psychological capital in MDD.Yi Shu psychodrama may correct self-recognition,improve social function and help them develop themselves better.Yi Shu psychodrama has unique technology and strong operability.Yi Shu psychodrama is a clinically feasible and effective psychotherapy.
