Clinical Study Of Peng's On Drawing And Positioning With Oblique-pulling's Therapy In The Treatment Of Atlanto-axial Joint Instability

Objective:Objective to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Peng's on drawing and positioning with oblique-pulling's therapy and the cervical traction's therapy in the treatment of Atlanto-axial Joint Instability.To observe whether there are differences in clinical effects of Peng's therapy in improving vertigo,neck pain and correcting the position of Atlanto-axial Joint.By comparing the differences of the clinical efficacy of the cervical traction's therapy and Peng's therapy for exploring a new,safe and more effective treatment of Atlanto-axial Joint Instability.Methods:In this clinical trial,66 patients with Atlanto-axial Joint Instability who were selected to the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.In the two groups,31 cases in the treatment group were treated by Peng's therapy,while 30 cases in the control group were observed by traditional cervical traction's therapy.We used the treatment of twice a week,two courses and a two-week course.According to statistics of the two groups prior and1 courses,2 courses and 1 months follow-up,concluding DHI score,VAS score,ADI,VBLADS and total effective rate to evaluating the differences of curative effect between the two groups.Results:1.Comparison of baseline data between the two groups before treatment:To comparing the data differences of gender,age,course of disease,height,weight,DHI,VAS score,ADI,VBLADS,there were no statistical differences(p>0.05).2.Comparison of relevant therapeutic indicators:(1)Compare in the two groups:(1)Compare to the clinical therapeutic indicators which including DHI,VAS,ADI andVBLADS between the two groups of prior and one or two courses of treatment,one and two course of treatment,the two groups were statistical differences(p<0.05).(2)Comparison of two courses of treatment and 1 months follow-up,the treatment group which including DHI,VAS,ADI and VBLADS were no statistical differences(p >0.05);the control group about VAS were no statistical differences(p > 0.05),the control group of DHI,ADI and VBLADS were no statistical differences(p>0.05).(2)Compare to the treatment group and the control group:(1)After one courses of treatment,Comparison of DHI and VAS between the two groups were no statistical differences(p>0.05);Comparison of ADI and VBLADS between the two groups were statistical differences(p < 0.05).(2)after two courses of treatment,Comparison of DHI,VAS,ADI and VBLADS between the two groups were statistical differences(p<0.05).3.Total efficiency rate comparison:(1)Comparison between the two groups:after two courses of treatment,the two groups were no statistical differences(p>0.05).After 1months follow-up,the two groups were statistical differences(p<0.05).(2)Comparison in the two groups:Comparison of two courses of treatment and 1 months follow-up,the treatment group were no statistical differences(p>0.05),the control group were statistical differences(p<0.05).4.Compare to compliance and safety between the two groups :The abscission between the two groups were no statistical differences(p > 0.05);There was no statistical differences in safety of the two groups(p>0.05).Conclusions: 1.Both of the two treatments with Peng's therapy and the cervical traction's therapy have effective in the treatment of Atlanto-axial Joint Instability,The efficacy of Peng's therapy better than the cervical traction's therapy.2.Peng's therapy can maintains the curative effective,especially in relieving the symptoms of vertigo and restoring the anatomical location of Atlanto-axial Joint longer than the cervical traction's therapy.3.Under certain circumstances,Peng's therapy has higher safety and effectiveness and great advantages and bright prospects in treating Atlanto-axial Joint Instability,.So that it has widely value of clinical application and popularization.
