Objective: To explore the reliability and clinical effect of "Easy technique" which percutaneous intervertebral endoscopy for the treatment of single segment lumbar disc herniation in middle-aged and elderly patients, and to provide theoretical basis for the evaluation of the clinical efficacy of "simple" technique for the treatment of single segment lumbar disc herniation in middle-aged and elderly patients. It provides guidance for the treatment of single segment lumbar intervertebral disc herniation in the middle-aged and elderly patients so that the "Easy technique" can be better applied to clinical practice. Methods: Retrospective research techniques were used to select 60 patients with single segment lumbar intervertebral disc herniation in the elderly(50-80 years old)who came to our hospital from February 2015 to February 2018.They were randomly divided into experimental groups(`` simple "technology)and control groups(PLIF technology),30 cases in each group.Analysis and calculation of surgical efficacy criteria for two groups of patients: preoperative preparation, surgical incision, intraoperative nerve harassment, hemorrhage(intraoperative),operation time, bed rest time, incidence of postoperative bed-rest complications, insomnia incidence, headache and dizziness incidence, hospitalization time, and recovery time and VAS score. The improvement of typical symptoms such as low back pain, lower extremity radiation pain, lower extremity numbness, and straight leg elevation were evaluated with reference to the "Standard for Judging the Performance of Lumbar Disorders"(formulated by the Japan Society of Plastic Surgery).Follow up,evaluate the treatment effect of 2 groups of patients according to the degree of clinical symptom improvement and imaging results, and count the number of cases of postoperative adverse events in 2 groups of patients(including post-operative incision infection, sensory impairment, lower extremity paralysis,re-protrusion of the interplate, basic diseases, and important viscera),The differences of quality of life after treatment were compared with those of SF-36.Through SPSS software statistical analysis, the differences were concluded: The measurement data in this study were compared by T test, and the counting data were compared by chi-square test. The test level was 0.05,when P>0.05,which the difference was not statistically significant, and P<0.05,the difference is statistically significant. Results: Preoperative preparation, surgical incision, intraoperative nerve harassment, hemorrhage(intraoperative),operation time, bed rest time, incidence of postoperative bed rest complications, incidence of insomnia, incidence of headache and dizziness, hospitalization time, recovery time and VAS score were all smaller than control In the group, the rate of improvement after treatment of typical symptoms such as low back pain, limb numbness, and Lasegue test was higher than that of Group B,and the postoperative adverse incidence rate was lower than that of the control group. The differences were statistically significant after t-test or chi-square test respectively(P<0.05).Conclusion: "Easy technique" percutaneous intervertebral endoscopy is better than PILF in the treatment of single segment lumbar disc herniation.
