Objective To study the therapeutic effect of intervertebral discoscope BEIS technique on lumbar disc herniation and its correlation factors. Methods A retrospective study was conducted to collect 126 patients with lumbar disc herniation from January 2014 to December 2015 at the Second People's Hospital of Yueyang City.Low back pain VAS(visual analogue scale),leg pain VAS and lumbar dysfunction ODI(The Oswestry Disability Index score)were measured for all patients before,1 day,1 week,3 months, half a year and 1 year respectively. And the improved MacNab criteria were used to evaluate the efficacy of the year postoperatively. The prognosis of the patients was summarized and the relevant statistical methods were used to analyze the factors that might lead to differences in postoperative efficacy. Results 1.The 105 patients who underwent intervertebral foramen BEIS were included in the study.Based on the improved MacNab,the total effective rate was 95.24% and the best follow-up rate was 83.81%.2.The results of univariate analysis: Factors related to postoperative efficacy were age, duration, clinical symptoms, nerve root adhesions, lateral recess stenosis, prominent segments, whether the nucleus pulposus is removed and the nerve root harassment time.No significant correlation factors are: gender, premature physical labor, obesity, thickening of ligamentum flavum, prominent type,Modic change, iliac crest is too high and whether hemostasis is complete.3.Results of multivariate analysis: The clinical factors that affect the clinical efficacy are whether the nucleus pulposus is removed and clinical symptoms,in which The clinical efficacy of patients with nucleus pulposus excision was significantly better than that of non-monolithic patients.Clinical symptoms of leg pain in patients with postoperative clinical efficacy is better than patients with low back pain, which clinical symptoms are independent factors in the main factors. Conclusion 1.The patients treated by intervertebral foramen BEIS were treated with satisfactory results.2.The factors that affect the difference of the efficacy of percutaneous intervertebral discoscope BEIS technique in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation are age, duration, clinical symptoms, nerve root adhesions, lateral recess stenosis, prominent segments, whether the nucleus pulposus is removed and the nerve root harassment time.3.Clinical symptoms and whether the nucleus pulposus is removed were removed for independent factors,in which clinical symptoms are the most important influencing factors.4.Clinical symptoms of leg pain in patients with postoperative clinical efficacy is better than patients with low back pain, and the clinical efficacy of patients with nucleus pulposus excision was significantly better than that of non-monolithic patients.
