Literature Study On Neiguan Point Indications And Clinical Application Rules

Objectives: This topic hopes to explore the main symptoms and rules and clinical therapeutic mechanisms of Neiguan acupoint by consulting and sorting out the ancient and modern literature on its application,and to expand the scope of Neiguan acupoint in modern clinical application on the basis of ancient documents.Providing documentary basis for this theory “Neiguan Point can cure the cardiothoracic diseases”.so as to provide a broader idea for the application of Neiguan acupoint in modern clinical practice.Methods: By means of literature research and statistical analysis,ancient literature was searched and excerpted in the fifth edition of the electronic series of Dictionary of Chinese Medicine through the combination of computer search and manual search.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria of literature,then delete non-conforming contentand and entered others into Excel form.Neiguan acupoint content is divided into two categories according to single acupoint treatment and compatibility with other acupoint treatment.Then divided the two categories according to the department of Internal,External,Gynecology,Pediatrics,Eye,Otolaryngology,then we classify and count them separately.Modern documents are mainly searched and queried by CNKI and VIP.After eliminating duplicate documents,modern documents are classified and sorted according to the method of sorting out ancient documents.Result: There were 69 kinds of diseases treated by Neiguan single point in ancient clinical practice.The two main categories were spleen and stomach diseases and heart diseases.There are 106 kinds of ancient clinical diseases treated by Neiguan acupoint compatibility.There are many kinds of diseases,involving a wide range of subjects.There are 8 kinds of diseases treated by Neiguan single acupoint in modern clinic,which involve diseases of heart system,spleen and stomach system.There are 83 kinds of diseases treated by Neiguan acupoint compatibility in modern clinic,including heart disease,stomach disease,surgical disease,gynecological disease and so on.Comparing the literature of Neiguan point application in ancient and modern times,it is found that Neiguan point still has room for development in modern dominant application.Conclusions: 1.Application of Neiguan acupoint is abundant in ancient literature.Neiguan acupoint combined with other acupoints can treat a wide range of diseases and diverse diseases.2.Neiguan acupoint has been widely used in many viscera systems,and the mainly diseases treated are spleen-stomach system and heart system.Therefore,the theory of "Neiguan Point can cure the cardiothoracic diseases" originates from clinical practice and has practical basis.3.After summarizing and sorting out,In ancient literature,it is found that the dominant diseases of single point treatment at Neiguan point are typhoid fever,chest pain,palpitation,fullness,choking,abdominal pain,accumulation,hypochondriac pain.The dominant diseases of Neiguan combined with other acupoints are chest pain,palpitation,abdominal pain,choking,fullness,stomachache,accumulation,stroke,hypochondriac pain,blood syndrome and arthralgia..In modern literature,the main diseases of Neiguan acupoint combined with other acupoints are hiccup,vomiting,insomnia,sequelae of apoplexy,arrhythmia,coronary heart disease,angina pectoris,hyperemesis gravidarum and depression.
