| Objective Choosing a nursing home with the mode of combining medical care and nursing in Tianjin,the research intends to investigate the life quality of the elderly residents in this circumstance,to analyze the general demographic characteristics of the elderly and the impact of each single factor on their life quality to understand the effects of the combination of medical care and nursing home on the elderly.Methods Convenience sampling method was approved in this study.From October 2017 to October 2018,the elderly aged 60 years old in a hospital in jinnan district.Tianjin city was chosen as the research object for the current status survey.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,a questionnaire survey was undertaken among the elderly in selected hospitals.The questionnaire mainly included broad demographic data,physical condition of the elderly,support status of the aging,satisfaction with admission to the hospital,depression scale for the elderly(GDS)and health survey scale for the elderly(sf-36).To investigate the status qua of quality of life of the elderly in nursing homes and related influencing factors.SPSS was used only for data processing and analysis.T test or variance test was used for comparison between single factor groups,and multiple regression analysis was used.Demographic data,physical condition,support status,satisfaction with admission to the hospital,depression and quality of life of the elderly were statistically described.Multiple stepwise regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of the quality of life of the elderly in Tianjin hospital.Results 1 In the present study,a total of 350 elderly people admitted nursing homes were investigated,and 322 were included in the analysis.The total average score was(470.69±161.77),scores for each of the dimension: body pain(86.19±13.00),physiological function(32.25±36.71),role physical(41.85±37.15),general health(43.83±12.94),vigor(55.68±16.14),social function(79.04±23.23),emotional function(70.39±36.93),mental health(61.45±12.08).2 Multivariate analysis of factors which were influencing the life quality of the elderly in nursing homes under the mode of combining medical care and nursing.The results showed that it was affected by multiple variables.They were monthly consumption,self-care status,degree of freedom,number of children,visiting rate of relatives,memory,well-being,total score of mental health.The elderly with lower consumption ability,better self-care status,unrestricted free activity ability,more children,more visits from relatives,better memory,better happiness and better mental health will have better quality of life.Conclusion Through the analysis of the factors which affect the life quality of the elderly in nursing homes with the mode of combining medical care and nursing,it was found that this model had a significant impact in Tiantong Nursing Home in Jinnan district of Tianjin city,the multi-factor analysis results which were obtained from this survey showed that the education,number of children,memory,mental health,social support,self-care,freedom of movement of the elderly were the influence factors of their life quality.The nursing homes need to pay more attention to the elderly with high level of medical consumption,few or no children,poor memory,psychological depression,low social support,lack of family or other external care,poor self-care ability in daily life and limited daily simple activities,to improve the life quality in their later years.Figure 0;Table 12;Reference 112... |
