Objectives To understand the job stress,job satisfaction,and perceived organizational support of nurses,analyze the relationship between the three,discuss the mediating effects of perceived organizational support between job stress and job satisfaction,and provide a new idea for easing the job stress of nurses and improving their job satisfaction.Methods Taking nurses at a Grade-3 Class-A hospital as the research object,selected the mature scale in the field as the research tool;SPSS21.0 software was adopted to test the reliability and validity of the scale first and descriptive statistical method was adopted to understand the status of these three variables of these nurses.Analysis of variance was adopted to analyze the difference among different demographic variables.Then correlation analysis and multiple linear regression were adopted to analyze and explore the mediation effects of perceived organizational support.Results The mean value of job stress was 3.48,work satisfaction was 3.06,and perceived organizational support was 3.01;the Pearson Correlation Coefficient between job stress,perceived organizational support,and job satisfaction was negative while between job satisfaction and perceived organizational support was positive;job stress could explain33.3% of the changes in job satisfaction,perceived organizational support could explain62.2% of the changes in job satisfaction,and the ratio of mediating effects of perceived organizational support to total effects is 71.2%.Conclusions 1)The job stress of nurses is generally higher and their job satisfaction and perceived organizational support are just average;2)The job stress and job satisfaction of nurses are negatively correlated,job satisfaction and perceived organizational support are positively correlated,and job stress and perceived organizational support are negatively correlated;3)Perceived organizational support exerts some mediating effects between job stress and job satisfaction.Figure2;Table30;Reference73.
