Observation Therapeutic Effect Of Regulating Mentality And Zhijing With Facial Opposing Needling For Treament Of Hemifacial Spasm

Objective:To compare the therapeutic effects of regulating mentality and zhijing with facial opposing needling and the normal acupuncture for treatment of Hemifacial spasm,and further optimize the acupuncture treatment.Methods:The 60 cases of Hemifacial spasm patients were randomly divided into the treatment group(regulating mentality and zhijing with facial opposing needling group)the control group(normal acupuncture group).The treatment group was treated with egulating mentality and zhijing with facial opposing needling at Baihui,Shenting,Yintang,Renzhong,Jianshi(bilaterally),Shenmen(bilaterally),unaffected side Cuanzhu,Taiyang,Quanliao,Dicang.The control group was treated with a routine needling at the affected side Cuanzhu,Taiyang,Quanliao,Dicang(bilaterally),Waiguan(bilaterally).Two groups were treated with mild-reinforcing-and-attenuating at all the points,Once daily,the treatment session was 4 weeks,assess the efficacy by using Hemifacial spasm classification score.Results:After treatment,the Hemifacial spasm classification score was decreased significantly in the two groups(all P<0.05).The decreasing degree of Hemifacial spasm classification score in the treatment group was more obvious than that in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of 82.75% in the treatment group was superior to that of 51.72% in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1,The treatment of regulating mentality and zhijing with facial opposing needling for treatment of Hemifacial spasm is better than that of the normal acupuncture.It has wide clinical application value.2,The therapeutic effect and spasm grading of regulating mentality and zhijing with facial opposing needling for treatment of Hemifacial spasm is obviously better than that of conwentional acupuncture.
