Study On The Involvement Of Hospitalized Children And Their Families In Medical Social Work

Medical social work plays a pivotal role in the reform of the medical and health system,helping to meet the diversified needs of patients and their families,easing the contradiction between doctors and patients,easing the contradiction between doctors and patients,establishing a quality and efficient medical service system,and improving the hospital's humanistic care and overall image.From the perspective of medical social work,this paper uses Maslow's theory of hierarchy of needs and the theory of human beings in context to analyze and summarize the related needs of medical social work,hospitalized children and their families by using the literature method.To investigate the family members of hospitalized children with cardiovascular and rheumatology in a hospital in Shanxi Province from October to December 2018,and to understand the family members' awareness of medical social work,their willingness to participate,and the demand for medical social work services.The results showed that the family members' needs for medical social work services were mainly for healthy disease needs,psychological and emotional needs,skills upgrading needs,and volunteer service needs.Taking hospitalized children A as a case study,in-depth analysis of the problems of hospitalized children and their families,accurately grasping the service needs of the clients and their families during hospitalization,providing casework services for their needs,providing hospitalization for children and their families.After the hospitalization,the whole service from the investigation and service process reflects on the service role of the medical social work,service strategy,and proposes that the medical social work in the hospital should meet the clinical needs and carry out diversified services;enhance the public's awareness and authority of medical social work through multiple channels;carry out inter-disciplinary teamwork mode;promote the linkage mechanism of medical social work and volunteer team construction and professional development of medical social work,and look for the entry and focus of medical social work services...
