Exploration Of Medical Support Service Mode For Children's Fear Of Oral Treatment From The Perspective Of Medical Social Work

With the rise of bio-psycho-social medical model,"whole person" care of medical services is increasingly valued.Therefore,in the face of children's fear of oral treatm ent,all-round support from the individual to the environment level is necessary.The p urpose of this article is to find out the current situation of medical treatment support for children's fear of oral treatment,and to find effective intervention countermeasures to alleviate children's fear of oral treatment,which plays an important role in solving various and more complicated personal,family or social problems of children's medic al treatment.Through literature review,the author found that children's physical and mental he alth development is challenged by fear of oral therapy.Therefore,children with fear o f oral therapy are in a relatively weak position,and they need support from physiolog ical,psychological and social levels.This study takes children with fear of oral therap y as the research object,aiming to explore the medical support service mode from the perspective of medical social work,give full play to the role of social workers in in tegrating system resources,and assist children to alleviate or overcome fear.The full t ext uses qualitative research methods,interviews and participatory observation methods to explore the two major environmental systems(medical institutions and family syste ms)closely related to children,and uses generic analysis methods to collate data.Bas ed on the ecosystem theory and the social support theory,the research in this paper i s divided into three parts: The first part is the research on the status quo of medical support for children's fear of oral treatment by medical social workers;The second pa rt is the research on the construction of medical support service model for children's f ear of oral treatment.The third part is the evaluation and research of the composite o ral treatment support service model for children.Finally,the conclusions of this paper are as follows: First,the intervention of chi ldren's fear of oral therapy not only needs to pay attention to the needs of children th emselves,but also needs to consider the impact of the ecological environment system in which children live;Second,medical social workers can act as the dominant and i mplementer of the service mode,use professional knowledge,theories and methods to embody the advantages of its integration function,actively establish cooperation with medical institutions,and take medical institutions as the position to form a composite team of social workers,medical personnel and psychological consultants to provide alt ruistic and supportive services.Third,the service mode proposed in this paper has its functions as follows: it can provide systematic medical support for children with oral diseases,children's families and medical institutions with the participation of medical s ocial workers,and test the effectiveness of the service mode through scientific evaluation methods,so that it can have certain promotion value.In a word,the service mode proposed by the author opens up new ideas and methods for solving children's fear of oral treatment,and is also a relatively new exploration of social work in the medic al field,providing some references and directions for dealing with the problem of chil dren's fear of oral treatment.
