Purpose:Schizophrenia patients during rehabilitation were enrolled in this study.A randomized controlled trial was conducted to investigate the effect and feasibility of group acceptance and commitment therapy on the quality of life of patients with schizophrenia during rehabilitation.To enrich the theoretical study of psychotherapy for patients with schizophrenia and to accumulate practical experience for clinical psychologists in the quality of life intervention for patients with schizophrenia during rehabilitation.Methods:Sixty-four schizophrenia patients during the rehabilitation were randomly selected from a psychiatric hospital in Shanxi Province,and were divided into the intervention group and the control group,32 cases in each group.The control group were given conventional psychological education,and the intervention group were given intervention of group acceptance and commitment therapy on the basis of the control group twice weekly,with 80 minutes in individual cycle for 5 weeks,a total of10 cycles.Before and after the intervention,the two groups were given PANSS,SQLS,SSRS,SSMI-C,SCSQ,AAQ-II and CFQ-F assessment.Result:(1)The general data showed that there was no significant difference in age,gender,work,marital status,education level,place of residence and family income between the intervention group and the control group(p>0.05);Before the intervention,there was no significant difference in scores on PANSS,SQLS,SSRS,SSMI-C,SCSQ,AAQ-II and CFQ-F between the intervention group and the controlgroup(p>0.05).(2)After the intervention,there were significant differences in the negative symptom scale(p<0.05),SQLS(p<0.01),SSMI-C(p<0.01),SSRS post-test score,subjective support dimension and support utilization dimension(p<0.05),SCSQ positive coping factor(p<0.01),AAQ-II(p<0.01)and CFQ-F(p<0.01)between the intervention group and the control group.(3)The difference value between pre-test scores and post-test scores in SQLS(p<0.01),SSMI-C(p<0.01),SSRS total score(p<0.01),subjective support dimension(p<0.05),support utilization dimensions(p<0.01),SCSQ negative and positive coping factors(p<0.01),AAQ-II(p<0.01),and CFQ-F(p<0.01)is significantly different between the intervention group and the control group.Conclusion:(1)Group acceptance and commitment therapy can reduce the level of stigma in patients with schizophrenia.(2)Group acceptance and commitment therapy can improve the social support of patients with schizophrenia: patients felt the more subjective support and the utilization of support increased.(3)Group acceptance and commitment therapy can change the coping style of patients with schizophrenia: more active coping styles and less negative coping styles.(4)Group acceptance and commitment therapy can significantly improve the quality of life of patients with schizophrenia during rehabilitation and improve their psychological flexibility.
