ObjectiveBy investigating the status of maternal postpartum depression and its influencing factors,maternal personality traits,analyzing the correlation between maternal personality traits and postpartum depression,providing relevant evidence for clinically targeted nursing measures,improving the quality of maternal psychological care and promoting population health.MethodsFrom July 2018 to November 2018,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 380 women of postpartum women in a maternity and child hospital in Wuhan,including general information and postpartum depression influencing factors questionnaire,Eysenck Personality Questionnaire-Revised,Short Scale for Chinese,EPQ-RSC),Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale(EPDS);the EPDS scale is based on the 9/10 population screening threshold and the EPDS score is<10 points.For the normal group,the EPDS score?10 points was set as the depression group.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 23.0 statistical data using single factor analysis,multivariate analysis,Pearson regression analysis,independent sample T test,and descriptive statistical analysis methods.Results1.380 questionnaires were distributed and 357 valid questionnaires were returned,with an effective recovery rate of 94%.2.204 women with EPDS score<10 points,EPDS score?10 points and 153 cases,and the incidence of postpartum depression was 42.9%.3.Univariate analysis of the depression group showed that the relationship between husband and wife,maternal postpartum health,family living,maternal sleep quality,neonatal health,family support,and social support had significant effects on postpartum depression(P<0.05).Maternal age,planned pregnancy,education level,maternal pregnancy and childbirth,family monthly income,and neonatal gender had no effect on postpartum depression(P>0.05).4.The distribution of maternal personality traits showed that there was a significant difference in stability,internal and external tendency,and concealing between the normal group and the depressed group(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in mental quality(P>0.05).5.The correlation analysis between maternal postpartum depression and personality traits in depression group showed that there was a positive correlation between internal and external tendency and disguise and postpartum depression in personality traits(P<0.05).The stability of personality traits was negatively correlated with postpartum depression(P<0.05).There is no correlation between mental quality and postpartum depression in personality traits.Conclusion1.The incidence of postpartum depression in women in Wuhan is high.2.Couples,maternal postpartum health,family living conditions,maternal sleep quality,neonatal health,family support,social support and other factors can affect postpartum depression.3.Some personality traits of maternal women are associated with postpartum depression.Internal and external tendencies,concealment and postpartum depression are positively correlated,and stability is negatively correlated with postpartum depression.
