Exploration And Research On The Combination Of The Medical Care And Nursing Service In Private Pension Institutions

In recent years,with the aggravation of the aging process,China's old-age services are facing severe challenges.Especially for the elderly,the disabled and the elderly with chronic diseases,the demand for life care,medical care and other aspects is becoming more and more urgent.The pressure of social and family support for the aged is also increasing,and the care of the elderly is facing great challenges.At present,there is a serious problem of separation of medical care and maintenance in our country.As the old-age institutions and medical institutions are systematic and independent,the demand for old-age services of the elderly can not be met.How to effectively integrate endowment resources and medical resources has become a hot issue of concern to all sectors of society.Promoting the integration of medical services and pension services has become an urgent need for the elderly.Therefore,it is imperative to promote the integration of medical services and nursing services.This paper takes J Pension Institution in Jinan City as a case study.By combining qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis,and taking qualitative analysis as the main method,we conducted in-depth interviews with 13 elderly residents and deans of the Pension Institution;Quantitative analysis was used as a supplementary method to conduct a questionnaire survey of all medical and nursing staff in the institution.In order to understand the service supply and the demand of the elderly in the old-age care institutions,and focus on the service content,structure,characteristics,level and demand satisfaction of private pension institutions to explore the health care services.Research findings:(1)the coverage and utilization of the integrated medical and nursing services in private pension institutions are relatively high,which can meet the basic care needs of the elderly;the elderly who live in institutions have higher satisfaction with the basic life care services and medical services.(2)At present,there are many problems in the integrated medical and nursing services of private pension institutions,which have not yet realized the effective integration of medical and nursing functions,and there are problems in the development of services,such as poor accuracy and accessibility of integrated medical and nursing services,challenges to continuity,and low professional standards of integrated medical and nursing services.Based on the findings of the investigation and study,this paper puts forward the following suggestions in view of the dilemma faced by the private pension institutions in medical and nursing services:(1)The government plays a leading role,establishes and improves laws and regulations,implements government support policies,and establishes diversified financing channels;(2)Setting up matching service content according to different needs of the elderly and grading care and fine service for the elderly;(3)To train professional talents by improving the professional skills of nursing staff and retaining Professional Talents by Improving the Compensation System.
