The Impact Of Public Health Expenditure On Residents' Health Level In China

With the ageing of the population,the deterioration of climate environment and the increasing of "sub-health",we are paying more and more attention to health and medical problems,public health expenditure is also increasing.The report of the 19 th National People's Congress clearly put forward that "to implement the strategy of healthy China,we should improve the national health policy and provide the people with all-round and full-cycle health services".In theory,increasing public health spending increases the health of the population,so what's the impact of public health spending on the health of residents? On the basis of theoretical analysis,this paper empirically demonstrates the impact of public health expenditure on residents' health level by using relevant macro and micro empirical data in China.Firstly,on the basis of summarizing relevant research results at home and abroad,this paper defines public health expenditure and residents' health,and then analyzes the mechanism of public health expenditure on residents' health.Secondly,this paper analyzes the current scale and structure of public health expenditure in China and the status quo of residents' health level,laying a foundation for empirical analysis of the impact of public health expenditure on residents' health and summarizing the existing problems of public health expenditure in China.Thirdly,in order to empirically investigate the impact of public health expenditure on the overall health level of residents,this paper used China's macro-panel data from 2004 to 2016,respectively,and used fixed effect model and differential GMM method for empirical analysis.The empirical results showed that public health expenditure had a significant impact on the overall health level of residents.In order to further analyze the public expenditure on health of residents,the effect of the individual health and the inspection of public health expenditure,the differences between the residents' health impact using China nutrition and health survey(CHNS)in 2004-2015 micro survey data for empirical analysis,the results show that different types of public health expenditure health effects on different people different,a greater impact on the health status of vulnerable groups.Finally,according to the current situation of public health expenditure in China,combined with the empirical results of the impact of public health expenditure on residents' health level,this paper summarizes the existing problems of public health expenditure in China,and further puts forward policy Suggestions for optimizing public health expenditure.
