| Objective:To observe the effect of Yuchan Weifei Pill on preventing seasonal allergic rhinitis before its onset,to analyze the factors that may affect the recurrence of seasonal allergic rhinitis,and to provide a new method for the prevention and treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis.Methods:1.The patients with seasonal allergic rhinitis who met the inclusion criteria were divided into experimental group(Yuchan Weifei pill group)and control group(blank control group)by randomized controlled trial design method.The patients in the experimental group took Yuchan Weifei pill 2 weeks before the onset of the disease,twice a day and 2 pills at a time.The control group received no treatment before onset.Both groups were treated normally after the onset.Two weeks before onset,two weeks after medication,at the beginning of pollinosis and four weeks after the onset of pollinosis,routine scale scores were used to compare the recurrence rate of seasonal allergic rhinitis and the degree of relief of symptoms at the time of recurrence,the degree of symptoms at the time of attack between the two groups,and the quality of life of patients with rhino conjunctivitis was compared.2.Comparing the baseline data of mild and moderate to severe symptoms in the experimental group,analyzing the factors that may affect the recurrence of seasonal allergic rhinitis,providing reference for further improving the prevention of seasonal allergic rhinitis,and providing support for the concept of disease prevention in TCM.Results:1.Six patients in the experimental group had no symptoms and all the patients in the control group had recurrence.The scores of nasal symptoms such as nasal itching,sneezing,runny nose and nasal obstruction in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group at 2 weeks,the beginning of pollinosis and 4 weeks after the attack of pollinosis,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The experimental group was lighter than the control group in terms of low voice,fear of wind and cold,tiredness of limbs,itching of eyes,itching of pharynx and cough.and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The symptoms of fear of wind and cold.limb burnout,itching and cough in the experimental group were less than those in the control group.and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the experimental group,shortness of breath,weakness of voice,fear of wind and cold,tiredness of limbs,itching of eyes and itching of pharynx were significantly lower than those in the control group at 4 weeks after the onset of pollinosis,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).During the pollen season,the indexes and total scores of the quality of life score of the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group.and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.There were no significant differences in dietary preferences.sleep status,occupation,work intensity,exercise,personality,family allergy history,course of disease,annual onset time and duration of onset,impact on life and work,types of allergens and symptoms at onset between the two subgroups(P>0.05).However,when the test level was set at 0.15,the results showed that the degree of influence of illness on work and life and occupation could affected the preventive effect of seasonal allergic rhinitis(P<0.15).Conclusion:1.Yuchan Weifei Pill can effectively prevent the recurrence of SAR,reduce the incidence of SAR,alleviate nasal itching,sneezing,clearing runny nose,nasal obstruction and other nasal symptoms,and improve the quality of life of patients during the pollen season.In addition,it can also improve the external nasal symptoms such as itching of pharynx,itching of eyes,cough and other TCM symptoms such as fear of wind and cold,tiredness of limbs.2.Preliminary study found that dietary habits,sleeping conditions,occupation,work intensity,exercise,personality,family allergy history,course of disease,annual onset time and duration of onset,impact on life and work,types of allergens,symptoms during onset had no significant correlation with the preventive effect of seasonal allergic rhinitis.When the test level was 0.15,the results showed that patients with lighter symptoms tended to have better preventive effect than those with heavier symptoms,and those with mental work tended to have better preventive effect than those with physical work. |
