OBJECTIVE AND SIGNIFICANCE:In the previous experiments on animals,our research group has confirmed that Chailing Jiangya Decoction can lower blood pressure by reducing the angiotensin in SHR serum and myocardial tissue.This subject is mainly through the collection,organization,and study of patients with hypertension in the outpatient clinic of professor Qian Linchao,summarizing the traditional etiology and pathogenesis that professor Qian Linchao hold about essential hypertension,analyzing the using drugs law which he obeys and his clinical thoughts.METHODS:By referring to relevant data,analyzing the epidemiology of hypertension in China,the pathogenesis of western medicine,the major risk factors,and the main factors which affecting the control rate,treatment rate and awareness rate of hypertension in our country.To summarize the understanding of the etiology,pathogenesis,diagnosis and treatment of hypertension in ancient and modern Chinese medicine,and analyzing those commonly used prescriptions;coping professor Qian’s prescriptions,collecting the clinical cases of patients with hypertension from September 2015 to February 2018,according to the diagnostic criteria,inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,73 cases with eligible conditions have been included in the database.Using Excel of 2013 and SPSS21.0 to analyze the frequency of those cases on TCM disease name and syndrome type;Analyzing and summarizing the clinical thoughts and drug laws of the tutor for the diagnosis and treatment of hypertension,and paying a return visit of those patients who have taken the medicine.RESULTS:1.The names of 73 patients with primary hypertension include vertigo,headache,insomnia,heart palpitation and edema,among which the frequency of vertigo,insomnia and headache is higher;2.The syndrome differentiation types include liver constraint transforming into fire,and fluid retention stagnatedin the interior,Yin deficiency Yang kang certificate,hyperactivity of liver-yang,syndrome of Internal Disturbance of Phlegm-heat and so on;3.Professor Qian Linchao prefers to use radix bupleuri,poria cocos,raw atra ctylodes,cassia twig,radix paeoniae alba,salvia miltiorrhiza,alisma,radix scutellariae,rhizome,raw keel,calcined oyster to treat hypertension,most of which belongs to the liver channel,spleen channel and kidney channel;4.The first clinical prescription of 73 patients with primary hypertension had used Chinese medicines for 1,531 times,in which damp-clearing drug took the biggest proportion,next is the liver wind calmed drug,and then followed with relieving Exterior Disorder drug,Sedative drug,and drugs used to activate blood flow.5.The type of pulse about 73 patients with primary hypertension mainly manifested as taut and slippery pulse,or with deep pulse,or with weak pulse.CONCLUSIONS:1.The clinical symptoms of 73 patients with primary hypertension are hea dache,head bilges,vertigo,be agitated,heart palpitations,heart oppressive pain,insomnia,edema,more urination at night,slippery or greasy fur which are thin white or thinyellowish,enlarged tongue with imprints of the teeth,slippery and deepo rvire pulse,which all points to the syndrome that liver constraint transforming into fire,and fluid retention stagnatedin the interior.2.The TCM name for hypertension is vertigo,headaches,insomnia,hydropsy,chest stuffiness and pains and so on.3.The main pathogenesis of hypertensive disease is liver constraint transforming into fire,and fluid retention stagnatedin the interior,the main locations cover the liver,spleen and kidney.4.Professor Qian treats essential hypertension mainly by soothing the liver andpromoting urination,helping with promoting blood circulation and purging firewhen necessary,the main prescription is Chailing Jiangya Decoction,which was composed of Xiao Chaihu Decoction and Wuling powder.
