ObjectiveThe study is to compare the difference of therapeutic efficacy between the deeply needling Tinghui points combining with electroacupuncture and conventional acupuncture treatment combining with electroacupuncture in the treatment of SNHL.To further clarity the effectivity and feasibility of deeply needling Tinghui points in the therapeutics of SNHL,and provide a reliable basis and a novel therapeutic approach for SNHL.MethodsWe adopted a randomized,single-blind and parallel-eontrolled research method.60 qualified patients were randomly divided into experiment groups(deeply needling Tinghui points and electroacupuncture treatment group)and contrlo groups(regular acupuncture and electroacupuncture treatment group),30 cases in each group.The experiment groups and contrlo groups accepted same acupuncture points:Tinghui(GB2),Fengchi(GB20),Yifeng(TE17),Yuntingqu,Waiguan(TE5),Zho ngzhu(TE3).Pantients in the experiment groups were treated with deeply needling Tinghui point,while the control group received regular acupuncture.Both groups were treated five times in one week,four times for a period of treatment.Three indicators include pure tone audiometry,TSIS and VAS were respectively measured for the two groups of patients before and after the treatment,to observe the scientific differences between the experiment groups and contrlo groups.We used the statistical software of SPSS21.0 for data analysisand comparison,in order to evaluate the effect of the deeply needling Tinghui points in SNHL.ResultsThere were no statistically significant discrepancies in the general information of the patients,involving gender,age,eourse of disease,patients's condition,concomitant symptom(P>0.05),revealing the comparability of the two groups.In addition,the difference of pure tone audiometry,TSIS and VAS in the pre-treatment between the experiment groups and contrlo groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The hearing degrees,TSISand.VAS of all patients were received difference improvement after treatment.The experiment groups total effective rate was 80.0%,better than the contrlo groups 73.3%,which showed statistically significant difference(P<0.05).And the experiment groups were also superior to the contrlo groups on the hearing improvement and the reduction of tinnitus(P<0.05).Conelusion1.The evidence presented here indicates that the deeply needling Tinghui points and electroacupuncture treatment is more effective to improve the hearing function and more efficacious to alleviate tinnitus than regular acupuncture treatment group.2.The deeply needling Tinghui points combining with electroacupuncture treatment is better than the regular acupuncture in the treatment of SNHL.
