Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy is a series of syndrome that dysfunctions of motion, sense, reflexes were in consistent distribution with nerve root caused by Spinal nerve root is stimulated and stress by the degenerative cervical disc herniation, the loose and translocation cervical vertebral joints, the Cervical vertebra hyperosteogeny. It is the most common types of The Cervical Spondylopathy. Cervical Spondylopathy may occur at aged people and Cervical Spondylopathy incidence showed younger trend in recent years, the incidence rate year by year also increase. Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy need lengthy treatment and was easy recurrence which has a great influence on people’s lives and work. There were different treatments to cure Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy in the traditional Chinese and Western medicine. Acupuncture and tuina were a cure with traditional characteristics for Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy. Needling Dazhui deeply was the particular experience of Situ Ling who was the nationwide famous acupuncturist. It had has a good effect on Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy. This clinical research was based on that Acupuncture combine with tuina. Then needling Dazhui deeply was used to cure Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy in order to explore the mechanism of curing Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy by needling Dazhui deeply.ObjectiveThis research compares the difference from conventional acupuncture, conventional acupuncture combined with needling Dazhui and conventional acupuncture combined with needling Dazhui deeply for Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy. And we study it in scientific and statistics methods. I hope this research can help us to explore the mechanism of curing Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy by needling Dazhui deeply.MethodsThere were90patients who met inclusion criterias elected from the Massage department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and were randomly divided into the three groups. The conventional acupuncture combine with tuina were used to treat Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy for every patient. The C1-C7Jiaji points that were in consistent distribution with nerve root syndromes and Fengchi(GB20), Bailao(extra), Jianjing(GB21), Dazhu (BL11),Waiguan (SJ4), Houxi(SI3), Shugu (BL65),Taixi (KI3) were selected in the matched group. The treatment for the group A is needling Dazhui (DU14) deeply besides the treatment as the matched group. Than the treatment for the group B is needling Dazhui besides the treatment as the matched group. The patients have the therapy every other day and need three sessions per week. Each course of treatment was2weeks. We use 《The diagnosis and outcome of common diseases (standard)》 promulgated by National ministry of health, SF-McGill pain questionnaire and20points scale to evaluate the efficacy. All of the data should be analyzed with SPSS Statistics22software.ResultsThere were no significant difference in the sexuality, age and course of disease of the three groups. So the three groups shall be comparable. The three treatments which can relieve suffering of patients have good curative effect in clinic and cure pain effectively for Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy. And The conventional acupuncture combine with needling Dazhui deeply was the most effective.It’s effective rate was93.3%which was higher than the other groups.ConclusionThe three treatments have good curative effect in clinic and cure pain effectively for Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy. And The conventional acupuncture combine with needling Dazhui deeply was the most effective. It was worth further study.
