ObjectiveAt the end of the 20th century,China formally entered the development stage of the aging society. The problem of population aging is becoming more and more prominent, accompanied by the characteristics of aging and large-scale population before being rich.Under the current medical insurance system for urban workers, the number of retired employees in hospital is very large and the expense is relatively large. The reimbursement system of seeing a doctor causes the income and expenditure of the medical insurance fund of urban workers to be not balanced. In this context, this study from the point of view of population aging, through the establishment of panel data model,to study the impact of population aging on the income and expenditure of medical insurance fund for urban workers in China. And the effect of aging population in different areas on the medical insurance fund for urban workers in China Whether there are regional differences in the influence of income and expenditure, this paper explores the policy characteristics in the areas where the medical insurance fund for urban workers is operating well, and puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions according to the relevant situation at home and abroad. In order to improve the basic medical insurance system for urban workers in China to provide a reference.MethodsFirst of all,by consulting a large number of relevant references,we can judge the factors that will affect the balance of income and expenditure of the medical insurance fund for urban workers.Referring to the relevant data in the China Health Statistics Yearbook and the China Statistics Yearbook in each year, the relevant data collection has been completed and calculated. It is set to take per capita income of urban medical insurance fund and per capita expenditure of urban medical insurance fund as dependent variables, take the dependency ratio of the elderly population as an independent variable, and take the per capita wage of the working urban workers, the ratio of employee participation to the total population, and the per capita regional gross product.Per capita medical expense is a panel data model with control variables.Because the medical insurance for urban workers in China has already-been established. This study will focus on the impact of aging population on the income and expenditure of urban employees' medical insurance fund and the regional differences of the impact. Therefore,by using panel data model to verify the relationship between population aging and the income and expenditure of medical insurance fund for urban workers in 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in China. The regression results of the model show that the aging population of the provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions affects the income and expenditure of the urban workers'medical insurance fund.Through the comparison among different regions, the regions in which the management of the employee health insurance fund is more scientific are judged. And carry on the research to their management plan, further to our country' s urban worker' s medical insurance system.Perfect it.ResultsThe regression results of the model show that the dependency ratio of the elderly population has a large influence coefficient on the income and expenditure of the medical insurance fund for urban workers, but there are regional differences. The aging of the population in the eastern and western regions has a certain impact on the income and expenditure of the medical insurance fund for urban workers, especially for the income of the medical insurance fund, but the influence on the expenditure is weak. The aging population of Zhejiang,Hainan,Xinjiang and Tibet has negative effects on the income of urban workers' health insurance fund and the population aging of Fujian,Zhejiang,Beijing,Tibet,Hunan,Xinjiang and Yunnan on the expenditure of urban workers' health insurance fund. The rest of the region is positive. To examine several control variables for the medical staff and workers in cities and towns Among the effects of the income and expenditure of the insurance fund, the ratio of the number of employees to the total population is the largest(2.0224 and 2.3600,respectively),indicating that the ratio of the number of employees to the total population is higher. The income and expenditure of medical insurance fund for urban workers are also larger; The influence coefficients of per capita wage of urban workers were 0.5211 and 0.1849 respectively, that of per capita regional GDP were 0.4646,0.7371,and that of per capita medical expenses were 0.5086 and 0.7460,respectively,and that of per capita regional gross domestic product(GDP)was 0.4646 and 0.7371,respectively.ConclusionThe aging population of Zhejiang,Hainan,Xinjiang and Tibet has a negative effect on the income of medical insurance fund for urban workers, and the aging population of Fujian,Zhejiang,Beijing,Tibet,Hunan,Xinjiang and Yunnan has a negative effect on the expenditure of medical insurance fund for urban workers,The aging of the population in the rest of the region has a positive impact on the income and expenditure of medical insurance fund for urban workers. The above results can reflect that there are still many deficiencies in dealing with the impact of aging population on the income and expenditure of health insurance funds for township workers. For example, the quality of the pension service industry is uneven, and the government needs to allocate more funds to the pension industry.Lack of funding criteria for medical insurance funds Stabilization mechanism, etc. In general, with the approaching peak of population aging, the urban employee health insurance fund will face increasing pressure. At present,it is necessary to reform and perfect the medical insurance system of urban workers from the point of view of aging population,so that the workers of all ages can enjoy their due rights and interests in the medical insurance system.
