ObjectiveIn order to explore the relationship between the serum cystatin C(Cys C)and Parkinson's disease, and the distribution of TCM syndromes in Parkinson's disease, the characters of Cys C in PD patients with different TCM syndromes of Parkinson's disease. It provides a rationale for the diagnosis and treatment of Parkinson's disease with Chinese and western medicine.MethodsIn Shenzhen Chinese Medicine Hospital and Shenzhen Second People,sHospital,130 patients with Parkinson's disease who met the requirements were randomly selected as Parkinson's disease group(PD group),and the control group was 139 healthy subjects. Both groups were examined with Cys C,uric acid(UA)?homocysteine(HCY).At the same time,At the same time, the PD group collected the medical history data and the four diagnostic materials of Chinese medicine.Part three of the Unified Parkinson' 5 Disease Rating Scale(UPDRS-?)score and the Hoehn-Yahr(H&Y)grading were evaluated in PD group. The SPSS25.0 software was used to analyze the serum Cys C,UA,HCY in the two groups, the correlation between serum Cys C and clinical indicators, the characteristics of serum Cys C in PD group with different TCM syndrome.Results1.There were significant differences in Cys C,UA,and HCY between PD group and control group(P<0.01).2.There were significant differences in UPDRS-? score, serum Cys C,HCY level(P<0.01)in the different stages of PD.There was no significant difference in UA(P>0.05)in the different stages of PD.3.The PD group serum Cys C was used as the dependent variable. The gender, age, illness time,UPDRS-? score,H&Y grade,HCY,and UA were used asindependent variables.Logistic regression analysis was used to show that serum Cys C level had positive correlation age(B=1.104>0,OR=1.035>1),UPDRS-? score(B=0.100>0,0R=1.105>1),H&Y grade,no significantcorrelation with gender,HCY,UA,illness time(P>0.05).4.The distribution of the TCM syndrome of 130 patients was as follows:54 cases(41.54%)with liver and kidney deficiency syndrome,32 cases(24.62%)with blood stasis syndrome, and 29 cases(22.20%)with the phlegm-heat syndrome,9 cases(6-92%)with qi and blood deficiency syndrome,4 cases(4.62%)yin and yang deficiency syndrome.5.The yin and yang deficiency,qi and blood deficiency, liver and kidney deficiency were merged into the Zhengxu group. There were no significant differences in gender, age, and UPDRS-? scores between PD patients in three groups(P>0.05).The serum Cys C in Zhengxu group was significantly higher than the blood stasis syndrome and the syndrome of phlegm-heating wind syndrome(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in serum Cys C level between the other two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion1.PD patients are often accompanied by high serum Cys C,high HCY,low UA.The character has a certain significance for the diagnosis of Parkinson' s disease.2.Serum Cys C and HCY were significantly different in patients with different stages of PD.There was no significant difference in UA in the different stages of PD.Serum Cys C level was significantly associated with age,UPDRS-? scores, and H&Y grades. At the same time, there was nosignificant correlation between serum Cys C level and gender,HCY,UA,and disease duration.3.Liver and kidney deficiency, bloody wind and hot wind are the most common TCM syndromes in PD.Compared with the blood stasis syndrome and the phlegm-heat syndrome, the Cys C in the Zhengxu group was significantlyelevated.
