Clinical Study Of The Efficacy Of The Acupoint Catgut Embedding Combined With Wheat Grain Moxibustion In The Treatment Of Female Chloasma

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of blancing spleen and stomach,activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis method to treat female chloasma with acupoint catgut embedding combined with wheat grain moxibustion.It provides new ideas and experiences for acupuncture in the treatment of female chloasma in clinical practice.Methods30 cases of chloasma women who met the inclusion criteria in the acupuncture department of our hospital were set to group A(using acupoint catgut embedding combined with wheat grain moxibustion),once a week;the dermatology clinic was in compliance with the standard 30 women with chloasma were enrolled in group B(oral vitamin C and vitamin E+topical Hydroquinone Cream).Then 'the Melasma area severity index(MASI),Self-rating depression sacle(SDS)and Skin disease Quality of Life Scale(DLQI)were observed and recorded before treatment and 8 weeks after the treatment.all the data was collected to make statistical analysis,After collecting and collating the data,SPSS23.0 was used for statistical analysis to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the acupoint embedding combined with wheat grain moxibustion in the treatment of chloasma.ResultsBefore the baseline between two groups of patients,the effect of age,duration lesion area and severity,depression score and quality of life were compared.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Before and after treatment,the MASI and DLQI scores of the two groups were tested by paired sample T test,P<0.05.Both treatment methods were effective in proving patients' MASI and DLQI scores.The SDS scores of group A before and after treatment were analyzed by paired sample T test,P<0.05,indicating that group A was effective in improving patients' SDS scores.Group B before and after treatment was performed by paired sample T test,P>0.05,indicating that group B had no statistical significance in improving patients' SDS score.In terms of MAS I Score,for group A,3 cases were recovered,16 were effective,8 were effective,3 were ineffective,the total effeciency is 90.00%.For group B,1 case was recovered,7 were effective,17 were effective,5 were ineffective,the total effective rate was 83.33%l;the independent sample test P=0.01,P<0.05,both groups can improve the MAS I score,indicating that the acupoint embedding and wheat moxibustion is superior to the western medicine group in the provement rate of MASI,and the cure rate and effective efficiency both are higher than the western medicine group.Taking the spleen and stomach,promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis as the guide,the use of accupiont embedding combined with wheat moxibustion to treat chloasma and oral vitamin C?E combined with topical hydroquinone cream for the treatment of chloasma is almost the same,but it is improving the overall skin pigmentation of patients.The calming aspect has a slight advantage over the western medicine group.
