Effect Of Acupoint Catgut Embedding Combined With Shenque Spreading Moxibustion In The Treatment Of IBS-D With Liver Stagnation And Spleen Deficiency Syndrome

Objective:To observe clinical effect of acupoint catgut embedding combined with Shenque spreading moxibustion in the treatment of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome with liver stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome.Methods:Based on searching and reading related literatures and referring to other clinical studies,a treatment plan was developed.68 patients with diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome who met the inclusion criteria were divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table.There were 34 cases in each group.The observation group was given acupoint catgut embedding combined with Shenque spreading moxibustion,and the control group was given oral pinaverium bromide tablets.Before and after 6 weeks of treatment,IBS-SSS,IBS-QOL,TCM syndrome integral observation and VIP were collected and compared.Statistical software was used to statistically analyze the data to compare the differences in the efficacy of the two treatments.Result:1.A total of 68 patients were included in this study.62 cases completed clinical experimental observation,including 2 cases in the control group and 4 cases in the observation group were excluded.Before treatment,there was no significant difference in gender,age,course of disease,IBS-SSS,IBS-QOL,TCM syndrome integral observation table and VIP between the two groups of patients(P>0.05);2.After treatment,the TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were compared within the group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);comparison between the groups after treatment,the patients in the two groups had diarrhea,irritability,fullness of two flanks,poor food intake and mental fatigue,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in abdominal pain between the two groups(P>0.05).The results showed that the two groups of treatment can effectively improve the TCM syndrome,and the effect of the observation group was better than the control group;3.After treatment,the IBS-SSS scores of the two groups were compared within the group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);comparison between the groups after treatment,the patients in the two groups of the degree of perplexity,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);the difference of defecation satisfaction and total score between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in the degree of abdominal pain,the frequency of abdominal pain and the degree of abdominal distention between the two groups(P>0.05).The results showed that both groups of treatments can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients,and the treatment of acupoint catgut embedding combined with Shenque spreading moxibustion in improving the degree of patients' trouble and defecation satisfaction was better than the control group;4.After treatment,the IBS-QOL scores of the two groups were compared within the group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);comparison between the groups after treatment,the IBS-QOL scores of the four dimensions of bad mood,behavioraldisorders,sexual behavior and health concerns,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the four dimensions of eating escape,social function,self-image,and relationship expansion were compared between the two groups,and the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).The results showed that both groups of treatment can effectively improve the quality of life of patients,and acupoint catgut embedding combined with Shenque spreading moxibustion have better effects in improving the four dimensions of patients' bad mood,behavioral disorders,sexual behavior and health concerns than control group;5.After treatment,the results of VIP test in the two groups were compared within the group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);comparison between the groups after treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The results showed that both groups could reduce the VIP content,and the effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion:Acupoint catgut embedding combined with Shenque spreading moxibustion and oral pinaverium bromide tablets in the treatment of liver stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndromecan effectively improve the clinical symptoms and quality of life of patients;but the effect of acupoint catgut embedding combined with Shenque spreading moxibustion is better,which is one of the effective means to treat the disease.
