Wet Heat Clinical Research For The Treatment Of Shoulder Pain After Stroke

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of wet hot compress on shoulder pain after stroke,to explore the etiology and pathogenesis of shoulder pain after stroke in traditional Chinese medicine,and to provide a safe and effective treatment method for shoulder pain after stroke.Methods : From January to December 2017,60 patients with shoulder pain after stroke who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups.the control group was given general treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine,and the treatment group was treated with moist hot compress on the basis of the control group.the treatment course was 2 weeks,and the treatment course was 2 courses.VAS,FMA and MBI were evaluated before and after treatment.Statistical analysis of wet hot compress treatment of shoulder pain after stroke clinical efficacy,and explore the etiology and pathogenesis of shoulder pain after stroke in traditional Chinese medicine,and observe the safety of wet hot compress treatment.Results:1.The VAS scores of the treatment group and the control group were compared before and after treatment.After treatment,the VAS scores of the two groups were lower than before treatment(all p < 0.05),the difference was statistically significant.After treatment,the VAS score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group(p < 0.05).2.The treatment group and the control group were compared before and after treatment.After treatment the FMA scores of the two groups were higher than before treatment(all p < 0.05),the difference was statistically significant.After treatment,the FMA score of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group(p < 0.05),the difference was statistically significant.3.The MBI scores of the treatment group and the control group were compared before and after treatment.The MBI scores of the two groups were increased after treatment(all p < 0.05),the difference was statistically significant.After treatment,MBI score of treatment group was higher than that of control group(p < 0.05),the difference was statistically significant.4.Safety analysis: no adverse events occurred in the study.Conclusion : After 4 weeks of treatment,compared with the control group,the treatment group can obviously relieve the pain degree of the patients with shoulder pain after stroke,improve the activity function of the upper limbs of the affected side,improve the daily living ability,improve the quality of life,and the operation is simple and safe.
