To Observe The Clinical Effects Of Shoulder Hand Syndrome Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Internal And External Treatment Of Post-stroke

Objective:This study is based on the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),and directed by the theory of modern rehabilitation to evaluate the treatment with a method of Chinese herb orally and wash under the the guidance of Shufeng huatan Huoxue tongluo Lishui xiaozhong therapy and Rehabilitation training for the post-stroke shoulder hand syndrome (SHS);To explore new methods of treatment with combined therapy of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western medicine for post-stroke shoulder hand syndrome (SHS).Methods:Using radom number table,Sixty patients in choosing with shoulder hand syndrome (SHS) disease were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. Two groups were administered with same basic western medicine and rehabilitation training treatment, while the treatment group was treated with xi qian tong luo decoction orally and outside wash. The course was four weeks. Observe the changes of treating effects of the SHS score, Chinese medicine symptom integral number, Visual analogue scale,Fugl-Meyer test (upper limb), Barthel Index of ADL and National Institute of Health stroke scale of the two groups. Scores on all scales, respectively, within groups and between groups, the data obtained using SPSS16.0. All adverse events occurred during treatment will be recorded for statistical analysis.Results:1. The total effective rate of SHS score was93.33%in the treatment group but66.67%in the control group. There was a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.01);2. In the points of improving SHS, Chinese medical symptom and Fugl-Meyer,the treatment group were better than the control group and with a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.01);3. After the treatment, in the lower on VAS, the treatment group is better than control group (P<0.01);4.In the points of improving ADL and NIHSS, the treatment group were better than the control group, but there was not significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05). The electromyogram (EMG) testing result of the fore-and-aft treatment is the average movement conducting velocity is31.58m/s before the treatment, whereas the43.59m/s after treatment. Disposed by the statistics t=-5.368,P<0.01,the difference is markedly obvious in the fore-and-aft of the treatment.Conclusion:The therapy of Shufeng huatan Huoxue tongluo Lishui xiaozhong seized the the key of pathogenesis of the post-stroke shoulder hand syndrome (SHS), xi qian tong luo decoction orally and wash plus basic western medicine treatment combined with rehabilitation training treatment has significant efficacy and safety,It was worth popularizing and applying in clinic.
