Objectives:Two methods of resin infiltration technology and microabrasion combined with CPP-ACP technology were used to treat post-orthodontic white spot lesions(WSLs)on the anterior labial surface, observe the improvement effect of white spot lesions on the labial surface of anterior teeth after after orthodontic treatment.Compare the clinical effects of the two techniques in the treatment of post-orthodontic white spot lesions of anterior teeth, and provide an excellent choice for clinicians to treat post-orthodontic white spot lesions. Methods:Ten post-orthodontic patients(84 teeth)with anterior labial white spot lesions treated in department of Orthodontics,Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Nanchang University were enrolled in this study.Using self-control design, according to the random principle, the resin infiltration technology and microabrasion combined with CPP-ACP technology are selected on the left and right sides..Intraoral photography were taken before treatment,1 week and 3 months after treatment, observe the improvement of white spot lesions before and after treatment, compare the clinical effects of the two methods in the treatment of anterior labial white spot lesions. The results were statistically analyzed using Chi-square test. Results:The anterior labial white spot lesions after orthodontic treatment could be improved by resin infiltration technology and remained stable within 3 months.Microabrasion combined with CPP-ACP technology can improve the postorthodontic anterior white spot lesions to a certain extent, and the effective rate increases with time within 3 months. The effective rate of resin infiltration technology at 1 week and 3 months after surgery was higher than that ofmicroabrasion combined with CPP-ACP technology(P<0.05).Conclusion:Both of the two technologies can improve the post-orthodontic anterior white spot lesions, and the resin infiltration technology within 3 months is superior to the microabrasion combined with CPP-ACP technology in improving the post-orthodontic anterior white spot lesions. |
