Objective:This study compares three methods for treating tooth demineralization: White Varnish fluor protector,ICON infiltrated resin,and a combination of the two.It treats enamel chalky spots and soaks the teeth in different solutions at different time points ?E and NBS.To compare the effects of three methods on the color stability of tooth surfaces after orthodontic treatment of chalk spots.Methods:A total of 48 teeth were removed from the Department of Oral Surgery of the First Shanxi Medical University First Clinical Hospital from 2016.9 to 2016.12.The enamel surface was intact and there was no obvious pigmentation.The isolated teeth were disinfected and cleaned and demineralized and divided into three groups with White Varnish fluorine protective paint and ICON penetrating resin.Each group was subdivided into 4 groups and soaked in artificial saliva,red wine,coffee,and tea solution respectively.Spectrophotometer was used to measure and analyze the value of ?E of each tooth observation area at 24 h,1w,2w,and 4w.The NBS standards of NBS units are:NBS units = ? E × 0.92.Calculate the NBS value of each tooth.Results:The time of the tooth in the solution,the different types of solution and the repair method had significant influence on the ? E value of the orthodontic chalk teeth after repair(P<0.05).The time of tooth in solution was positively correlated with ?E value.At fourtime points,? E: red wine> coffee> tea> artificial saliva,there was a statistically significant difference between groups(P < 0.05).After soaking for 4 weeks,the L value of each tooth in red wine decreased,and the a and b values increased;the L value of each tooth in coffee and tea decreased,and the b value increased;only the b value of artificial teeth in artificial saliva increased.Artificial saliva group: NBS value <1.5,color change "mild";tea group: 3.0 <NBS <6.0,color change "obvious";red wine and coffee group:6.0 <NBS value <12.0,color change "significant." After treatment,the color stability of the tooth surface: joint repair group> ICON penetration resin group> White Varnish group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:For the treatment of orthodontic chalk plaques,the maintenance effect of tooth color after combined treatment with White Varnish fluoroprotective paint and ICON osmotic resin is better than that by using the two methods alone,and it can make up for the deficiency of the two separate treatments and safety.High efficiency,enhanced dental aesthetics,and provided guidance for clinicians.
