Objectives:Investigate the status of hospice care attitude and professional life quality of oncology nurses, analysis the influencing factors of hospice care attitude and professional life quality and explore the correlation between them. This study aims at providing theoretical support and guidance for managers to take targeted measures to improve the professional life quality of oncology nurses, maintain a positive hospice attitude, and promote the development of hospice care. Methods:The study adopted convenient sampling method, selecting 436 nurses from the oncology department of five third-grade class-A hospitals in Jilin Province to conduct a questionnaire from October 2017 to April 2018.The questionnaire consists of a self-designed general information questionnaire, the Frommelt Attitude Care of the Dying Scale(FATCODS),and the Professional Quality of Life scale(ProQOL).Epidata3.1 software was used to enter the data into the computer by two people, and SPSS20.0 application software was used for statistical analysis. The statistical methods included analysis of variance,t-test,rank sum test,?~2-test,Pearson correlation analysis and multiple linear stepwise regression analysis.Results:1.The total score of hospice care attitude was(101.00±10.12)points.The positive attitude of taking care of the dying patients dimension scores(50.20±7.51)points;the care consciousness centered on patients and their families dimension scores(50.80±5.39)points.2.The univariate analysis of hospice care attitude shows:age, working experience, education level, employment nature, average monthly number of night shifts, whether they are often involved in the care of dying patients, whether the hospital often conducts mental health counseling, education level of hospice care knowledge, family support, income satisfaction could influence hospice care attitude(p<0.05).3.The scores of professional quality of life were:compassion satisfaction dimension scores(32.17±7.74)points;burnout dimension scores(24.01±5.07)points,;secondary trauma stress dimension scores(23.92±4.57)points.4.Multiple stepwise regression analysis on three dimensions of professional quality of life shows that:age, working experience, education level, whether they are often involved in the care of dying patients, whether the hospital often conducts mental health counseling, education level of hospice care knowledge, family support and income satisfaction, entered into the compassion satisfaction regression equation;age, education level, professional title, whether the hospital often carries out mental health counseling, education level of hospice care knowledge, family support and income satisfaction, entered into the burnout regression equation;age, education level, marital status, professional title, hospital type, whether the hospital often carries out mental health counseling, and family support entered into the second trauma stress regression equation.5.Correlation analysis between the total scores of hospice care attitude and three dimensions of professional quality of life shows that:the total score of hospice care attitude was negatively correlated with burnout and secondary trauma stress, and positively correlated with compassion satisfaction(p<0.01).6.Multiple stepwise regression analysis on hospice care attitude shows that:age, average monthly number of night shifts, whether they are often involved in the care of dying patients, whether the hospital often conducts mental health counseling, education level of hospice care knowledge, burnout, entered into the regression equation, and could explain 35.9%of the variance of hospice care attitude,(R~2=0.359).Conclusion:1.The hospice care attitude of oncology nurses is at a medium level. The level of positive attitude of taking care of the dying patients is low,and the level of care consciousness centered on patients and their families is high.Active measures should be taken to improve the hospice care attitude of oncology nurses.2.The professional quality of life of oncology nurses is at a medium level, there is a risk of compassion fatigue, and the professional quality of life needs to be improved.3.Age,working experience, education level, whether they are often involved in the care of dying patients, whether the hospital often conducts mental health counseling, education level of hospice care knowledge, family support and income satisfaction, are the main influencing factor of compassion satisfaction;age, education level, professional title, whether the hospital often carries out mental health counseling, education level of hospice care knowledge, family support and income satisfaction, are the main influencing factor of burnout;age, education level, marital status, professional title, hospital type, whether the hospital often carries out mental health counseling, and family support are the main influencing factor of secondtrauma stress.4.The total score of hospice care attitude was negatively correlated with burnout and secondary trauma stress, and positively correlated with compassion satisfaction. It can help oncology nurses establish a positive hospice attitude and improve the quality of hospice care services by improving the professional quality of life of oncology nurses.5.Age,average monthly number of night shifts, whether they are often involved in the care of dying patients, whether the hospital often conducts mental health counseling, education level of hospice care knowledge, burnout are the main influencing factor of hospice care attitude.
