The purpose of this study was to understand the current situation of the quality of life of the elderly in the three patterns of institutional endowment, family endowment and community endowment in Shen Yang,Liao Ning province. To explore various factors affecting the quality of life of the elderly, and to analyze the causes of various factors This study to provide a reference basis for the formulation of Shen Yang to improve the health level of the elderly.MethodsA cross-sectional survey was conducted from 2017-03 to 2018-06 using a multi-stage sampling method.Data were collected using the MOS item short form health survey(sf-36)and basic information questionnaire.A total of 1,223 elderly people aged 60 and above were investigated.SPSS22.0 was used for statistical Analysis, and the measurement data were expressed by mean standard deviation.Two-sample t-test was used for comparison between the two groups, and one-way ANOVA and Multiple Regression Analysis were used for comparison between Multiple samples. The counting data are represented by the ratio and the rate.Results1.There were 1 223 elderly people aged 60 years and over, including 458 in the institutional endowment,367 in the community endowment, and 398 in the family endowment.2.There were significant differences in the average score of the quality of life among the elderly in different patterens(F= 10.60,P<0.05).The order of the scores from high to low was community endowment, family endowment and institutional endowment;the score of community endowment was the highest, with 78.36±13.24 points;the score of institutional endowment was the lowest,62.85±16.24.Older people scored higher in SF and BP,while lower in HT and GH.3.In univariate analysis, the scores of quality of life of the elderly in institutional and community endowment were higher in males than in females.Except for HT,SF,and GH,there were significant differences in other dimensions(P<0.05).In the family endowment, except for RE,the scores of other dimensions of women are higher than those of men,and the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).4.The scores of quality of life of the elderly in different endowment patterns decreased with the increase of age. There were significant differences in four dimensions of HT,PF,RP,and BP(P<0.05).5.In the institutional endowment, the higher the education level of the elderly, the higher the quality of life score(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in HT,PF,SF and VT under the family endowment, and the lower the educational background, the higher the score(P<0.05).6.In the institutional endowment, except for RP and RE,the scores of the other 7 dimensions were higher for regular physical exercisers than for occasional and never exercisers, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the community pension model, except for RE,scores of the other 8 dimensions were all higher for regular exercisers than for occasional exercisers and never exercisers, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the family endowment model, the differences in the four dimensions of PF,SF,BP and VT were statistically significant in the three different physical exercises(P<0.05),and the scores of the elderly who exercised regularly were higher than those who did not exercise occasionally or never.7.In the univariate analysis, marital status, ethnicity, income after retirement, physical exercise, sleep, and chronic diseases had an impact on the quality of life(P<0.05).8.In the multiple stepwise regression analysis, the average score of quality of life was taken as the dependent variable Y,and each influencing factor was taken as the independent variable X.The results showed that sleep, physical exercise, diet, age, pension, drinking, income after retirement, and chronic diseases were the main factors affecting the quality of life of the elderly.Among them, sleep, physical exercise, regular diet, pension mode, income after retirement are positively correlated with the quality of life of the elderly, and negatively correlated with chronic diseases, age and alcohol consumption(P<0.05).Conclusion1.The quality of life of the elderly is different among different endowment patterns in ShenYang, and the quality of life of the elderly in the community endowment is the highest, followed by family endowment, and the institutions endowment is the lowest.2.Factors affecting the quality of life of the elderly in the institutional endowment include gender, age, ethnicity, education level, marital status, income after retirement, and physical exercise.3.Factors affecting the quality of life of the elderly in the family endowment include gender, age, and physical exercise.4.Factors affecting the quality of life of the elderly in the family pension model include gender, age, education level,post-retirement income, and sleep. The main factors affecting the quality of life of the elderly are:sleep, physical exercise, age, pension mode, income after retirement, education level, and chronic diseases.
