Objective: To observe the effects of different penetration promoters on the regulation of hyperlipidemia with atherosclerosis in rabbit serum inflammatory factors(il-6,TNF-a,il-10,IFNgamma),clarify the mechanism of action,and determine the best transdermal absorption promoter.Methods:48 healthy New Zealand pure-bred rabbits were randomly divided into 6 groups,8 rabbits in each group: normal group,model group,medicated cake moxibustion group,azone group,borneol group,and septum cake moxibustion group.In addition to the normal group,the other five groups were fed with high-fat diet for 3 months and then treated with traditional moxibustion with isolated objects.The moxibustion group,azone group,borneol group and the moxibustion group with separated noodles were treated with moxibustion for 4 weeks.Serum levels of il-6,TNF-a,il-10 and IFN-gamma were detected by ELISA.Results: The results of pathological sections showed that the wall membrane of the model group was significantly thickened,not smooth and not complete compared with that of the normal group,and the endodermis was necrotic with lipid plaque deposition,showing foamy changes.The intima of the model group was still thickened,and the disorder of smooth muscle cells was slightly better than that of the model group.In the azone group,the whole body was slightly orderly,the intima was not significantly thickened,and the smooth muscle cells were orderly arranged.In the borneol group,the whole body was clear and orderly,the endothelial cells were abundant and complete,and most of them were normal in shape.The continuous thickness of the internal elastic membrane was uniform with no obvious thickening,and foam cells were rare.In the septal cake moxibustion group,the intima was still thickened,and scattered plaques were observed.The results showed that: compared with the normal group,the serum levels of il-6,TNF-and IFN in the model group were significantly increased,while the levels of il-10 were significantly decreased,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the model group,the contents of il-6,IFN,TNF-in the serum of rabbits in the traditional medicated cake moxibustion group,the azone group and the borneol group were significantly decreased,and the levels of il-10 were significantly increased(P<0.05).Compared with the traditional group,the serum levels of il-6,TNF-and IFN in the borneol group and azone group were significantly decreased(P<0.05).The serum levels of il-6 and TNF-were significantly lower in the borneol group than in the azone group,and the borneol group had better effects(P<0.05),while the levels of IFN and il-10 were not significantly different(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.Moxibustion with medicine cake can effectively reduce tumor necrosis factor-(TNF-),interleukin-6(il-6)and IFN-(IFN-)in inflammatory factors,and increase interleukin-10(il-10).2.Two kinds of penetration promoters,azone and borneol,have a promoting effect on the effect of moxibustion with medicine cake,and the effect of borneol group is better than that of azone group.
