Objective:To explore the relationship between preoperative serum prealbumin(PA)level and the staging and related pathological parameters in patients with rectal cancer, and to study the clinical significance of preoperative prealbumin level in patients with rectal cancer from the perspective of abnormal nutritional status of tumor patients. Methods:collected in January 2015-December 2015 in the first affiliated hospital of guangxi medical university and met inclusion and exclusion criteria of diagnosis and treatment of the clinical data of 185 patients with rectal cancer, according to the seventh edition surgery,on the basis of serum prealbumin 180 mg/L,divided the patients into normal group and lower group, using the statistical correlation analysis method to compare two groups in gender, age, degree of infiltration,TMN staging of tumor, tumor gross classification, lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis, the difference between.Multivariate analysis was performed on the indicators with statistical significance in the univariate analysis,so as to investigate the relationship between preoperative PA and the staging and pathological parameters of rectal cancer. Results:the results of univariate analysis showed that preoperative serum prealbumin level was closely related to tumor stage,M stage and TNM stage(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between preoperative serum albumin level and gender, age, whether the tumor had lymph node metastasis(N stage),and tumor general typing in patients with rectal cancer(P>0.05).Preoperative patients with rectal cancer would be occurred before the low serum albumin level as a dependent variable for multiple factors analysis, the single factor analysis of meaningful T stage,M in installment,TNM staging as independent variables, assignment into binary classification analysis, logistic regression model analysis results further show that rectal cancer staging is preoperative T staging,M before low serum prealbumin level of independent factors. Conclusion:Preoperative serum low level of prealbumin was correlated with T staging,M staging and TNM staging of rectal cancer.T stage and M stage were independent factors affecting the occurrence of hypoproalbuminemia in patients with rectal cancer, and the clinical and pathological conditions were relatively worse in patients with rectal cancer with low preoperative levels of hypoproalbuminemia(PA).Serum prealbumin can be used as an effective index for preoperative adjuvant assessment of rectal cancer stage and disease progression.
