Objectives:This study investigated the status of self-acceptance of breast cancer chemotherapy patients and explored the influencing factors by analyzing breast cancer chemotherapy patients in Shanghai NO.10 People's Hospital,Huadong Hospital affiliated to Fudan University and Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University, and analyzed the correlation between self-acceptance and coping styles and health promotion behaviors, determine the predictive role of self-acceptance for coping styles and health promotion behavior, and provide a more powerful basis for psychological intervention of breast cancer chemotherapy patients.Methods:232 breast cancer chemotherapy patients were recruited from Shanghai NO.10People's Hospital,Huadong Hospital affiliated to Fudan University and Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University from June 2018 to October 2018 in a cross-sectional study. And patients were investigated with general information questionnaire,Self-acceptance questionnaire,Coping-style questionnaire and Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profile II.The data after sorting, filtering, serial number, use SPSS22.0 for statistical analysis.Results:(1)The self-acceptance score of breast cancer chemotherapy patients was(41.54±5.27),the self-acceptance factor score was(20.58±3.12),and the self-evaluation factor score was(20.95±2.99).(2)There were statistical differences of self-acceptance score in different social demography characteristics and illness features of breast cancer chemotherapy patients. Those who were age, whether still at work, professional type, degree of culture, place of residence, payment method, family per capita income, marital status, the main caregiver during hospitalization, postoperative breast condition, clinicalstage to breast(P<0.05).(3)Multivariate stepwise regression results showed: age(55-years old),clinical stage, education level(junior high school, high school/secondary school, junior college, undergraduate, master's degree and above),payment method(public fee),the main caregiver during hospitalization(parents)were entering the regression equation, and the regression equation is statistically significant(F=99.772,P<0.01).(4)The average scores of the eight dimensions of coping styles for patients with breast cancer chemotherapy were respectively: facing :2.13±0.44,escaping:1.66±0.64,seeking surport:1.65±0.40,palliative:1.74±0.59,optimism: 2.09±0.39,fate:1.77±0.70,emotion:1.44±0.57,self-dependence:1.82±0.38.Pearson correlation analysis showed that the self-acceptance total score and each factor score were positively correlated with face, optimism and seeking support(P<0.01).The self-acceptance total score and each factor score were related to escape,fate,emotion,palliative,self-dependence was negatively correlated(P< 0.01).(5)The total scores of health promotion behaviors of breast cancer chemotherapy patients were 138.89±21.45.The average scores of dimensions were:interpersonal relationship: 2.69±0.38,health responsibility: 2.71±0.65,stress management: 2.66± 0.43,nutrition: 2.68±0.60,sports: 2.53±0.69,mental growth:2.75±0.47.Pearson correlation analysis showed that the total scores of self-acceptance and each factor were positively correlated with the total scores of health promotion behavior and the scores of each dimension(P<0.01).(6)With self-evaluation factors and self-acceptance factors were used as predictors, and eight dimensions of coping style and health promotion behavior scores were used as dependent variables, were used as stepwise regressions.it was found that the self-evaluation factor and the self-acceptance factor have certain predictive effects for coping styles and health promoting behaviors(P<0.01).Conclusions:(1)The self-acceptance factor score of breast cancer chemotherapy patients is lower than the domestic norm, indicating that the self-acceptance level of breast cancer chemotherapy patients still needs to be improved, the self-evaluation factorscore is higher than the domestic norm, indicating that breast cancer chemotherapy patients can objectively make a correct evaluation of themselves.(2)The self-acceptance level of breast cancer chemotherapy patients is affected by many factors such as age, education level, payment method, the main care during hospitalization and clinical stage. In the future, medical workers and all sectors of society should give psychological care and social support according to these influencing factors.(3)The self-acceptance level of breast cancer chemotherapy patients is significantly positively correlated with optimism, face, and support, and has a certain positive predictive effect. At the same time, the self-acceptance level of breast cancer chemotherapy patients is significantly negatively correlated with escape,fate,emotion,palliative,self-reliance,and has a certain negative predictive effect.(4)The self-acceptance level of breast cancer chemotherapy patients was significantly positively correlated with the total scores of health promotion behaviors and the scores of each dimension, and had a certain positive predictive effect.
