influencing factors of the willingness to donate organs and explore how to increase the rate of organ donation and propose corresponding countermeasures and recommendations.MethodsFrom December 2017 to July 2018,medical staffs in ICU from the firis tclass hospital of Henan province were asked to answer the questionnaires using convenience sampling.Research tools include general information questionnaires and organ donation scales.A total of 480 questionnaires were distributed in this study, and 445 valid questionnaires were returned. The effective recovery rate was 92.7%.The data were counted and analyzed using the statistical software SPSS 17.0.Normal measurement data is expressed in mean differences ± standard deviation.Statistics of counting data are represented by relative numbers.Comparison of count data between different groups used t test and analysis of variance.Pearson correlation was applied to the relationship between the scores of willingness of organ donation and knowledge of organ donation and attitude of organ donation. The method of multi-factor analysis of willingness of donate organs is multiple linear regression.Results1 The scores of knowledge of organ donation of the staffs are(8.28±1.36).The question with the highest correct answer rate is “Everyone with any disease can donate organs”,the correct rate is 99.1%.The question with the lowest correct rate is “The person who donates the organ can’t ask for any monetary reward”,the correct rate is only 63.1%.2 The scores of attitudes of organ donation of the staffs are(3.24±0.94).The average scores of “identity with the value of organ donation”,“don’t identity with the value of organ donation” and “blocking the cause of organ donation” were respectively(2.13±0.99),(4.21±1.17)and(3.48±1.18).The three items with a more positive attitude are respectively “Because I heard that organ donation can save lives”,“Because I saw or heard reports in this area that donate your organs after death to benefit the people” and “If someone lives a normal life because of the organs I donate,it would be a wonderful thing”.The three negative attitudes are respectively “I am not sure that the organ I donated will be transplanted to the person who need”,“I don’t like to think about death” and “Although organ donation can save people, the effect is not very good.3 The scores of willingness of organ donation of the staffs are(3.24±0.94).In the univariate analysis of the willingness of ICU medical staff to donate organs, the scores of willingness of organ donation were significantly in terms of age, place of birth, position, job title, establishment, persuade donation experience and whether to be a mentor(P<0.01).Among the staffs, the scores of willingness of organ donation were significant positive correlated with knowledge of organ donation, but negatively correlated with “identity with the value of organ donation”,“don’t identity with the value of organ donation” and “blocking the cause of organ donation” of organ donation attitude.4 Multiple linear regression analysis of organ donation willingness of ICU staffThe statistically significant factors in the univariate analysis and the three dimensions of organ donation knowledge and organ donation attitude were used as independent variables.Three dimensions of statistically significant factors in univariate analysisorgan, donation knowledge and organ donation attitude as independent variables and the scores of willingness of organ donation as dependent variable were analyzed with the multiple linear regression method. The results showed that factors such as age, position, job title, and establishment were excluded. The factors such as place of birth, persuasion experience, whether to be a mentor, knowledge towards organ donation, identity with the value of organ donation and blocking the cause of organ donation entered the regression equation and became the main factor affecting the willingness of ICU medical staff to donate organs. The main factors of organ donation explain a total of 54.1 variants(P<0.05).Conclusion1 ICU medical staff has a higher level than the average level on organ donation knowledge, and the organ donation attitude is positive, but the willingness to donate is lower than the average level.2 Among the medical staffs, the scores of willingness of organ donation were significant positive correlated with knowledge of organ donation, but negatively correlated with dimensions of organ donation attitude. It indicates that the higher the cognition level of organ donation, the higher the willingness to donate, the lower the score of each dimension of organ donation attitude, and the more positive the attitude, the higher the willingness to donate.3 The factors such as place of birth, persuasion experience, whether to be a mentor, knowledge towards organ donation,“identity with the value of organ donation” and “blocking the cause of organ donation” became the main factor affecting the willingness of ICU medical staff to donate organs. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | ICU medical staff, organ donation, knowledge, attitude,
