Clinical Observation Of Taohe Chengqi Decoction On The Treatment Of Minimal Hepatic Encephalopathy(Stasis And Heat Syndrome)

Objective:By comparing with lactulose,the clinical efficacy and safety of Taohe Chengqi Decoction in the treatment of Minimal Hepatic Encephalopathy(stasis and heat syndrome)was observed.To provide a scientific basis for the clinical application of Taohe Chengqi Decoction in the treatment of Minimal Hepatic Encephalopathy.Methods:All the cases of this clinical observation were from the Department of Hepatic and Spleen and Gastroenterology,Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.72 patients were divided into treatment group and control group by random method.The treatment group was given Taohe Chengqi Decoction Chinese medicine decoction.The group was given lactulose oral liquid.The two groups were treated for 1 week.The patient's condition and symptoms were monitored.The syndrome scores,liver function indexes,blood ammonia,NCT-A and DST were recorded.Before and after treatment,the effect of drugs on the changes of various indicators above the patient was analyzed statistically.Results:After treatment with Taohe Chengqi Decoction and lactulose,statistical analysis showed that the average total score of syndromes before treatment was 14.77±2.84 in the treatment group,5.27±3.25 after treatment,14.27±3.10 in the control group,and7.00±3.15 after treatment.The detection indexes of the two groups of patients were lower than those before treatment,and there were statistical differences.On the reduction of blood ammonia index,P=0.048(P<0.05),there was a statistical difference,in the NCT-A changes,P=0.007(P<0.01),there was a statistically significant difference,in the DST change,P=0.01(P<0.05),there was a statistical difference.The total effective rate of Taohe Chengqi Decoction group was 93.33%,and that of lactulose group was 80.00%,which was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group.Conclusion:Taohe Chengqi Decoction for the treatment of Minimal Hepatic Encephalopathy(stasis and heat syndrome)is to clear the bowel in the intestine by "dispelling fever",reduce the absorption of endotoxin in the intestine,and improve blood ammonia index.It can effectively treat this disease.Taohe Chengqi Decoction has good curative effect on treating Minimal Hepatic Encephalopathy.It has significant curative effect on reducing blood ammonia index,NCT-A and DST changes.The overall curative effect and symptoms improvement are better than the control group.And no adverse reactions occur during the treatment,safe and reliable,and can be promoted.
