Clinical Observation On Modified Taohe Chengqi Decoction Combined With Auricular Plaster In Treating With Chronic Urticaria

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of modified Tao He Cheng Qi decoction combined with auricular plaster in the treatment of Heat stagnation-Blood stasis Chronic Urticaria,to compare the changes in the level of patients' quality of life before and after treatment.Methods: 72 chronic urticaria patients were randomly divided into two groups.The treatment group was treated with modified Tao He Cheng Qi decoction combined with auricular plaster,and the control group was given ebastine combined with auricular plaster.Two groups were treated 4 weeks and were followed up for 3 months after the treatment to observe the efficacy,the skin quality of life index(DLQI)scores,adverse reactions rate and recurrence rate.Results:1.Comparison of efficacy between two groupsThe treatment group of the total effective rate was 82.35% and the control group of the total effective rate was 75.75% after the treatment of 2 weeks.The treatment group of the total effective rate was 88.24% and the control group of the total effective rate was 81.82% after the treatment of 4 weeks.After 2 weeks and 4weeks of treatment,the treatment group of the total effective rate was higher than the control group of the total effective rate,but there was no significant difference between the two groups' s total effective rate(P > 0.05).2.Comparison of DLQI scores between two groupsThe DLQI score,after 4 weeks and before treatment within the group,the differences of two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference in theDLQI scores after 4 weeks of treatment of both groups was statistically significant(P<0.05)and the DLQI scores improvement of the treatment group was higher than the control group.It suggested that both groups could improve the quality of life of the patients after treatment,but the treatment group was superior to the control group.3.Comparison of adverse reactions rate between two groupsThe treatment group's adverse reactions rate of after treatment was 2.94%,while the control group's was 15.15%.The treatment group was lower than the control group at the adverse reactions rate,and the differences of two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Comparison of recurrence rate between two groupsThe treatment group's recurrence rate that followed up for 3 months at the end of treatment was 3.17%,while the control group's was 41.18%.The treatment group was lower than the control group at the recurrence rate,,and the differences of two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Modified taohe chengqi decoction combined with auricular plaster in treating heat stagnation-blood stasis chronic urticaria has definite clinical curative effect and it's good at improving the quality of life of the patients,and the adverse reactions rate and the recurrence rate of the patients were very low.
