Ancient And Modern Literature Study On The Number Of Acupoints Of Governor Vessels

ObjectiveSystematically collate and collect the ancient and modern medical records related to acupoints of governor vessel,comb out the change process of the number of Du Meridian acupoints from the Warring States period to the Qin and Han dynasties and summarize its law,deeply analyze the relevant articles of Du Meridian acupoints,in order to further standardize the number of Du Meridian acupoints and specific points to provide a basis for the future in-depth study of the distribution of Du Meridian points.MethodsThe main database of ancient literature is 1,156 ancient books in Chinese Medical Code(5th edition),assisted by search tools such as super star data library,ancient books of Chinese medicine,Chinese Medicine Resource Network,etc.,the key words were "du Mai" and the names of its Meridians and acupoints.The retrieved articles were read item by item,and the qualified articles were entered into the Excel form and Word document according to the criteria of inclusion,exclusion and re-evaluation,then according to the chronological order of their induction,collation.Modern literature with the national standards,acupuncture and moxibustion teaching materials and the impact of acupuncture and moxibustion great doctors as the main materials,the Du Meridian points of its exposition into Word document collated analysis.Finally,through the comparison of Du Channel acupoints recorded in various books,the author sorts out and analyzes the acupoints which vary greatly.Results(1)Fifty-seven medical books related to the number of Du Meridian points before the founding of the People’s Republic of China and thirty-seven medical books(including a national standard)after the founding of the People’s Republic of China were searched and sorted out.(2)According to the date of publication,the medical books can be divided into five periods according to the changes of the number of Du Meridian points,and the changes of Du Meridian points in each period are different.(3)There has been no dispute about the 13 points of the Du Meridian,namely Chang Qiang,Yao Shu,Ming Men,Xuan Shu,Ji Zhong,Jin Suo,Zhi Yang,Shen Dao,Shen Zhu,Tao Dao,Da Zhui,Feng Fu and Ya Men;The more controversial points are Ping Yi,Hui Yang,(waist)Yang Guan,Zhong Shu,Ling Tai,Feng Men,Feng Chi and Tian Zhu,Yin Tang,Dui Duan,Yin Jiao.Conclusion(1)In contrast to the increasing trend of the number of acupoints in the whole body from ancient times to the present,the number of acupoints of the governor vessels fluctuated all the time,and only after 1027 could the increasing trend be seen.(2)Du Channel acupoints are not always recognized as acupoints at present,and some of them have been disputed.(3)The distribution of Du Meridian points is not only on the circulation line of Du Meridian,but also on the circulation line of other Meridians.
