ObjectiveBy investigating the satisfaction of inpatients in Henan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2017,the present situation of patients' satisfaction in Henan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine was understood.From the five dimensions of medical technology,doctor-patient communication,medical ethics,medical assistant service and logistic service,this paper analyses the factors affecting patients' satisfaction in Henan provincial hospitals of traditional Chinese medicine,finds out the weak links in medical and health services,and puts forward some suggestions to solve these problems.To provide the basis for the relevant decision-making of Henan Traditional Chinese Medicine Administration and Henan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.MethodsThis study used literature analysis and expert consultation to compile a questionnaire on patient satisfaction.A total of 1095 questionnaires were sent out and 1060 valid questionnaires were recovered through on-the-spot investigation.The return rate of the questionnaires reached 96.80%.The survey included the demographic and sociological characteristics of patients,the reasons for choosing hospitals,patients' satisfaction with medical technology,doctor-patient communication,medical ethics,medical assistance services,logistics services and overall satisfaction with medical treatment.Epidata3.1 was used for data double-entry,and spss21.0 software was used for data processing and analysis for statistical analysis.The main methods used were descriptive analysis,?2test,F test and logistic regression analysis.Results1.The demographic and sociological characteristics of hospitalized patients and their main reasons for seeking medical treatment:There were 503 male patients(47.25%)and 557 female patients(52.55%)among the 1060 inpatients surveyed.In terms of age,the number of patients aged 31-60 is the highest,with 487 persons(45.94 %),In terms of occupation,the proportion of retirees is the largest,with 223 persons(21.04%),In terms of educational level,the proportion of patients with university education or above is the highest,with 374 persons(35.28 %).When patients choose hospitals for medical treatment,the three main reasons they pay most attention to are: high level of medical technology(86.51%),good service attitude of medical staff(71.04%)and good hospital environment(60.94%).2.Survey results of inpatient satisfactionThe overall satisfaction rate of 1060 inpatients reached 88.96%.In the five dimensions of this survey,the satisfaction rate from high to low is: medical technology,doctor-patient communication,medical ethics,medical auxiliary services,and medical environment.The satisfaction rate is respectively 97.26%,93.68%,89.06%,89.06% and 75.76%.Among all the questions in this questionnaire,the top five questions with the highest satisfaction rate are: Is your doctor in charge fully aware of your condition,your satisfaction with the doctor's medical technology,your satisfaction with the nurses' medical technology,your satisfaction with the medical ethics of the medical staff,and your overall satisfaction with the doctor-patient communication.The satisfaction rates are 98.68%,98.40%,97.83%,97.64% and 97.55%,respectively.The five questions with the lowest satisfaction are: your satisfaction with the hospital's dietary supply,your satisfaction with the hospital's vehicle management,the doctor's respect for your opinions when choosing the treatment plan,the hospital's drug price and the publicity of the charging standard for medical items.The satisfaction rates are 73.96%,76.04%,84.62%,85.28 and 85.28%,respectively.Patient satisfaction was higher in the three dimensions of medical service,doctor-patient communication and medical ethics.3.Analysis of influencing factors of inpatient satisfaction(1)Single factor analysis result: Patients of different ages,marital status and educational level have significant differences in overall satisfaction with the hospital.(2)Multipule factor analysis result: Taking patients under 18 years old as the reference group,there were significant differences in overall satisfaction among patients of different ages.Taking patients with junior college degree or above as the reference group,there was a significant difference in total satisfaction between primary school degree patients and other education level patients.The results of this study can not be considered that there are significant differences in satisfaction among patients with different gender,occupation,ethnicity,medical payment methods,whether they are hospitalized for the first time,and the length of hospitalization.(P < 0.05)Conclusions(1)The overall satisfaction rate of patients in Henan provincial hospitals of traditional Chinese medicine reached 88.96%,and the overall satisfaction rate was high.(2)The satisfaction rates in the five dimensions of this survey are ranked as follows: medical technology,doctor-patient communication,medical ethics,medical auxiliary services,and logistics services.Hospital managers need to focus on improving the quality of hospital logistics services and patients' auxiliary medical services,promote the implementation of hospital information disclosure,and continue to improve medical technology.(3)The results of this survey show that the age,marital status and educational level of patients have a significant impact on the satisfaction of hospitalized patients.
