| Objective: Compare the treatment of external humeral epicondylitis with conventional manipulation, and observe the clinical efficacy, explore the therapeutic mechanism of manipulation, and find a safe and effective massage treatment. Methods: 63 patients with lateral epicondylitis of humerus were randomly divided into experimental group(the pulling and loosening manipulation group)and control group(routine massage group).31 patients were in experimental group and 32 patients were in control group. One patient in experimental group and two patients in control group fell off because they could not adhere to treatment for their own reasons. The two groups were treated 10 times as a course of treatment, once every other day.The "PD value(pain degree)" and "Mayo elbow function score" of patients before and after treatment were analyzed by statistical software, and the clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared. Results: 1.After a course of treatment,60 patients participated in the study. After treatment, observation and statistical analysis of the experimental data, the overall efficacy of the two groups of patients has statistical significance(P < 0.05),which proves that the overall efficacy of the manipulation group is better than that of the conventional massage group.2.Statistical comparison and analysis of the PD value and Mayo elbow joint function score of the two groups before and after treatment showed that the two groups had statistical significance(P < 0.05).After the whole treatment process, the PD value and Mayo elbow joint function score of the two groups were compared, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).It proved that the manipulation group was improving pain and movement. The motor function, stability and daily activities of the massage group were better than those of the conventional massage group.3.One month after the end of treatment, telephone follow-up and Mayo elbow function score were recorded.Mayo elbow function score was compared withfollow-up Mayo elbow function score after the end of two manipulation treatments, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);the follow-up score between the two groups was also statistically significant(P < 0.05).They all have good long-term effect, but the long-term effect of the manipulation group is better than that of the conventional massage group. Conclusion: 1.After one course of treatment, both massage techniques can improve pain, motor function, stability and daily activities of patients. However, compared between the two groups, the overall effect of the plucking and loosening technique group was better than that of the conventional massage group, indicating that the plucking and loosening technique has certain clinical promotion value.2.One month after the end of one course of treatment, the patients with lateral epicondylitis of humerus were followed up by telephone, and the recovery of the patients was recorded and evaluated by Mayo elbow joint function score table.Statistical analysis showed that the long-term effect of the two manipulations was obvious, and the long-term effect of the manipulation group was better than that of the conventional massage group. It is worth popularizing and applying in clinical practice. |
