Objective: To observe the clinical efficiency, headache index and HAMA?HAMD scores of acupuncture combined with medicated thread moxibustion treatment for tension-type headache,in order to provide effective clinical and experimental evidence for the treatment of this disease,so that it can be promoted and applied in clinical practice. Methods: 96 patients with tension-type headache were randomly allocated to A group(conventional acupuncture group),B group(acupuncture combined with medicated thread moxibustion group),and C group(deanxit group),32 cases in each group and related interventions. Each group received treatment once every other day,7 times for 1 course.2 days of rest in between,a total of 2 courses of treatment. All groups were followed up before and after treatment and one month later for clinical efficacy evaluation according to headache index,Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)and Hamilton depression scale(HAMD).Results: After treatment,92 patients completed the experiment, including 30 patients in A group,31 in B group, and 31 in C group.1 Comparison of efficiencyAcupuncture combined with medicated thread moxibustion group was significantly better than the conventional acupuncture group and the deanxit group in curing the clinical effects of tension-type headache(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the conventional acupuncture group and the deanxit group(P>0.05).2 HAMA?HAMD scoresComparison of the total scores of HAMA and HAMD before, after and follow-up treatment with multiple groups were repeatedly measured by two-factor anova test in three groups, the results showed that the total scores of HAMA and HAMD were all P<0.05.The difference was statistically significant, indicating that the total scores of HAMA and HAMD in the three groups were significantly lower than before. After and follow-up treatment were better than before treatment, and acupuncture combined with medicated thread moxibustion group was superior to the conventional acupuncture group and the deanxit group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the conventional acupuncture group and the deanxit group(P>0.05).3 headache indexComparison of headache index before, after and follow-up treatment with multiple groups were repeatedly measured by two-factor anova test in three groups, the results showed that headache index were all P<0.05.The difference was statistically significant, indicating that headache index in the three groups were significantly lower than before. After and follow-up treatment were better than before treatment, and acupuncture combined with medicated thread moxibustion group was superior to the conventional acupuncture group and the deanxit group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the conventional acupuncture group and the deanxit group(P>0.05).Conclusions: Acupuncture combined with medicated thread moxibustion treatment can effectively reduce the headache index and improve anxiety and depression of patients with tension-type headache. Its curative effect is better than conventional acupuncture and the deanxit.
